Some How Wasent Paying Attention And Lost My Fiance

I'm sorry freesmok! Its obvious you care a lot about her. Hopefully she is well and working on herself. Maybe she will contact you at some point to give you some answers/explanations.
hopefully somthin will happen...idk lol..........the story so much more messed on her part but its not worth telling the rest...........its literally some like a Jerry Springer story but im  tryin to block out the madness of it.........and im a clean cut guy........whos popular and knows everybody in my area....not to toot my own horn.....lol but    its totally nuts

All I can say is good luck man & you have my deepest and honestly most sincere best wishes!

If anybody has combat vets in there family or have a loved one who is realize that pdsd is a serious thing and nobody understands what our vets have been thru except other vets......just watch for little signs....it might be huge and wild at first but even tho they might calm down it never really goes away.....Now im 100% not qualified to say anything about anything, but all I know are the things she told me late at night when me and her would just talk.........all im sayin is take care of our vets.....especially combat vet.......thanks for the support everybody
freesmok, I am really sorry you are going through this, loving someone who is suffering is probably one of the hardest things people experience. I just wanted to let you know that for women Vet's with PTSD the VA is often not the best place to go for help. A private therapist with a lot of experience working with abused and battered women can be a better choice. I don't want to go into a lot of detail here, but I come from a military family, and I have spend time working with Vet's at Fort Lewis/McCord.

Please PM me if you want to and I will help if I can.

thank you I appreciate it but shes gone.......I cant find her and at this point just tryin to move on ya know???..........I cant make sombody wanna be with me  no matter how much I care or how little scense it makes, Im just trying to move on with my life.........I wish her the best life can give but its time for me to have some normalcy in my life.....thank you tho......everybody on this site has been really great

Post traumatic stress disorder...........it SUCKS that there is a stigma attached. As with any mental illness, it is NEVER the persons fault. As a long time sufferer of same, i empathize. I know this is an old post but i pray that by now you have gotten an explanation and she is helping herself instead of hurting others. I know all too well that striking out at the ones you love is NEVER the answer. She is in my prayers and you too freesmok! I cannot receive therapy because i just cannot talk about it. I refuse to relive it. But i know if i found the right therapist, i could try. I am just so tired of looking for the right therapist. Been to about 20

,

I also would like to express my sincere thanks to the men and women in the military. You guys are awesome and SO unselfish! Thank you thank you thank you from the deepest place in my heart! You have my thanks and my utmost respect!

I second that emotion. IDK how long it took for me to get over having a gun put to my head during what I thought was a carjacking, then when they wanted to put me in the trunk thought "Better to die here and people know it than end up a charred mess, or not even found, later". So I made my escape to the neighborhood next street over. Still alive, despeite the younger one saying "shoot him!". I looked back and the gunman was looking at the gun, I don't know if they couldn't figure out the safety or forgot to pull the slide to load the chamber, but either way I didn't get kidnapped or shot.

I can't imagine what it must be like having bullets flying all over the place, seeing friends and enemies getting killed.... I'm sure all of it would mess me up for a long time. I had to stop watching "murder mysteries" because of the nightmares after my incident. So IMO PTSD is something almost anyone who was in a war zone must suffer for at least some period of time.

Wow man, I can completely relate.  I had a similar thing happen to me about 7 years ago.  My roommate and I were robbed at gun point.  My adrenaline kicked in and I tried some self defense on our behalf that should have got me shot.  Instead I just got pistol whipped.  Well, more like punched in the face with the barrel of a pistol, but still hurt like f#&k.  And the whole experience was traumatizing to say the least.  Probably the single most scary thing I've ever experienced.  We moved out the next day with a month left on the lease.

Well, obviously you've never had a limb ripped off by a pissed off Wookie, LOL.

LOL, thankfully not.

Let's just say you really start re-thinking things once you eat the barrel of a pistol.  Then you begin to re-evaluate even more with your face down in a couch with said barrel placed firmly in the back of your skull.  Whatever those jokers were after was not worth my, nor my friend's life.

Indeed not, well said. I'm just thankful that whoever they were, they didn't cross that thin line between thug and murderer. Jewenberg's wouldn't be without the Berg!

I got in  my situation after finding out my subordinates were stealing "Buffalo Wings". They had stolen over 150k worth, at wholesale value, but the first night I became the night shift supervisor I noticed a door at the far end of the building kept getting unlocked. The building was about 150 yards long and we were only supposed to be in 2/3, with the other 1/3 a cooler, not the freezers we used. They had already put a pallet (2000 lbs) in the cooler when I closed off the area and locked the only access they had to it. So 3-4 weeks later I was almost killed, or as one of the perps said at trial, "they were supposed to distract me" so the guys could steal more chicken. IOW my life was worth 2000 lbs of frozen chicken. /default_sad.png They may have gotten more since it was likely their last shot at it either way. BTW, despite the young perp, me and two others who said they stole my car the one who was on trial for armed robbery was acquitted. IDK what the younger guy was charged with in exchange for his testimony, but he got 6 months probation.

None of the workers were charged with anything, or even dismissed. Instead they were allowed to make my job a living hell, but you can't blame the company, they could have been sued for discrimination because the workers were all minorities.

Wow what a thread.  Many years ago, I got a call outa CA, saying that I needed to talk to this VietNam Vet.  Why?  Seal, wore a loin cloth, speaks the Montagnard, killing machine, is losing it.  I said, I'm in Miami with the Cubans.  What am I spozed t....?

He's there, Looking for you.  Oh that's just great.  Anyway, we wound up very close.  not friends zackley, just very close.

A buddy of mine (who thought he was a gangster) stumbled into one of our tell-all sessions one evening, left after 5 minutes.  I didn't know he was listening.  He told me later that he slept with the lights on for two weeks after that eavesdrop... poor bastard.

If I didn't believe in the grace/forgiveness of the Almighty...anyway the Seal sobered up & rejoined society.  So it takes the right one.  Why me for him?  I dunno.

But thank God you were the one. You kinda gave him his life back.

Just a comment about eating a barrel. After 100 times or so, you kinda get used to it. You just never know which time is your last.

  15. L @ Layne_Cobain: @maoi thanks for the input tho I think I’d def go the route of using hcg if I do go w TrT
  16. L @ Layne_Cobain: @maoi nah no fear of needles and if it made me feel a lot better no fear of being on it long term as who knows if my t will even rebound after 5 years on methadone not sure if that’s the norm I hope so…the more I research the more it seems like the best choice is to just go for it with TrT rather than trying to “middle” with Enclomiphene especially now that i know it probably won’t work being on methadone altho I am tapering off 5 mg biweekly so that’ll take a while I’m at 95 now from 120
  17. moai @ moai: @Layne_Cobain the longer you’re on it without using HCG sometimes, (meaning years) the harder it will be to rebound if you do come off. But I’m with you, at only 22, I’ve abused myself to the point I may NEED trt. Not to mention all of the benefits
  18. moai @ moai: @Layne_Cobain You don’t seem it, but if you are the type that’s afraid of needles for life, don’t sweat it. I’m natty atm, but from what I hear A) you won’t want to come off and B) if you implement HCG every once in a while to your protocol, you have a better chance of being able to come off T completely and restore all (or most) of your natty production. Of course, no guarantees and it is dependent on the individual, genetics, compounds and duration of exposure, etc.
  19. L @ Layne_Cobain: @tiquanunderwood when you began the Enclomiphene, were you already off opiates? Cause after further research I don’t think it’ll even work while still on methadone…I think trt with hcg to preserve fertility and ball size is the way to go for me. I just wanna feel better. Thanks for your input on the matter btw
