Most people are fascinated by bars because of this new young drug using rap culture that has popularized Xanax as the "cool thing to do" and its really not cool. I take xanax for anxiety not to get high and I wish I did not have to take meds just to feel normal. Its also sad because you have teenagers now listening to the music and becoming addicted to drugs sometimes more than xanax and then they are stuck with addiction problems the rest of their life. On the other hand,  my main med I take is Clonazepam.  It helps my anxiety,  doesn't make me tired, and does provide a little euphoria. Anyways just thought I'd share my 2  cents. 

@Chunkymonkey86 We are two peas in a pod. You just described my life perfectly. Also, you are right. Starting on barrz when you do not NEED them is a life sentence.

Would like to add to this thread. It’s very interesting to see how Xanax reacts differently to different people. My experience with the drug hasn’t been positive at all. Initially after ingestion..about 10 mins or so. I tend to have the care free/euphoria that comes with most benzos. Although this is very quickly followed by a complete blackout. Usually takes a couple of days to come back round. Always followed by the aftermath of whatever crisis I’ve caused while in blackout mode. As you can imagine. I opt to stay clear of Xanax for this reason. Very powerful, dangerous drug to me. They don’t tend to put me to sleep.. Rather turn me into a kind of anti social zombie. Not for me I’m afraid.

@Crackajack OMG I thought I was the only one that had this happen! I had that the only time of taking xanax. It's a long story but I was extremely lucky something really crazy didn't happen to me or anyone else. 2 days later I have my first memory, from about 10 minutes after taking it, and I was sitting on the side of the road, out of gas. I had no real clue how I got there etc. 

I spent a couple of weeks beating myself up at how utterly stupid I was! 

The friend that gave it to me said she gave me only a quarter of what she was RX'd for her anxiety of public speaking. I can't imagine if I had taken more! 

I haven't ever heard of anyone else having this reaction.

@alixjones2018 no, you’re not alone. I’ve taken them on a few occasions with the very same reaction. The last time had the potential to be very dangerous indeed. I need to admit I cannot take them in safety. I know a fair few others with the same story. Best to steer clear in my case.

May I ask what kind of dose you took... how much?

As far as Xanz go I can eat them like Pringles and behave just fine. I’ve also had a lot of experience with them. I can remember taking my first totem pole. Man oh man. Wish they still had the same effect!

@SleepyMonkey sorry I just seen this. I have no idea how many I’ve taken as I forget...everything. I think the problem may be the bars I’ve had are pressed and may contain..god knows what. I did have some legit 1mg footballs and as you say...like Pringles The bars are a different story altogether

@Crackajack Be careful with anything pressed dude! Be safe. Have you ever taken Ks@lols? If not, you’re missing out. They are readily available in these parts.

Yeah that’s what I eating like Pringles was the Ks@lols. I would try them again perhaps. 

I would love to sample a legit 2mg bar but they’re pretty much non existent here.

I’ve been prescribed kolonopins for 10+ years straight for legit panic disorder, PTSD and serious anxiety. The only thing is my last doc only would prescribe 2 mg a day and I have been used to up to 8 mgs a day after divorce and more some tragedy struck. I entered rehab for booze addiction and came clean off of everything for a good year. I got to the point where I was always shaking and couldn’t leave the house so finally got back on kolonopins 2 mg a day.. Sadly, what’s been prescribed ..it’s just not enough and have to go other places to buy diff benzos or I’ll lose my shit. I don’t advise to drink on any Benz or if your like me, I used to black out and wake up in different states for Christ’s sake or cells, lol I Still don’t drink (Thank Jah) goin on 10 years. I would like to try an RC option benzo and see if that will help. Not sure what works as good as Kolon though.. Maybe Clams? Etiz? Oh yes, my dog was on Valium as well for the rest of his life from a brain injury where he had lockjaw and we would have to open his mouth everyday in pain just for him to be able to eat. Rest his soul. I’m rambling but Crazy shit tho!

@Crackajack what kind are you taking? Dose? I take them to get a good nights sleep. If I took one or even a few I’d just get incredibly tired and demand a bed. A blackout came only once when I mixed with muscle relaxer. Won’t do that again.

@Josepagini   I've tried both cl@m and etiz for anxiety, panic attacks..ect.. and found that etiz is the best.  Cl@m will raise your toler@nce too high, to where no other b3nz0 will help.

@blissopifree 2 Exactly mate. Very same here. As you say, we all like a good dunt but these things are just beyond a joke!! My last outing with them cost me dearly I just stay clear altogether now. Plenty other stuff for a good charge that you actually know what’s in them.

@Crackajack I have that panic reaction to xanax with Pfizer brand. Didn't have it with Torrent which they don't make anymore. Am on the hunt for a new brand that just lets me sleep without waking up with vivid dreams and sweaty. What brand are you taking that caused the panic attacks?

Lol!!  I completely feel ya!! Zannies make me give actual zero fucks about any consequences. I had to serve 30 days in jail once for walking into a Wally world and breaking two laptops out of their holders and walking right out the front door with them, needless to say I got caught days later.  Didn't even need the laptops, have no idea why I ever thought to even to do it.

X@n@x is incredibly popular and "barz" flies around like casino advertising. Whenever I take them I just pass out, whether 1 me or 2, azing feeling.  I don't.get a euphoric feeling or anything amazing. It's a pity but I won't lose sleep over it, lol.

It must work differently for other people. I prefer the older hypnotic staples personally. That said, I like clonaz and bromaz - currently working through a bag of lexilium. ?

What are other people's experience with the Infamous 'X@n@x?'

Simply put ,   X#n#x  was/is a way to make me feel normal.   I never used it for any kind of euphoria, etc.   It was something I decided I need to eliminate anxiety, and allow my mind to think clearly and let me work and live normally.  I guess I am saying I use it for what it's meant for ?    I've read so much about being cautious with benzos and how your body can react when you quit using them, etc...and I try to not over do it.   Sometimes, I let what I feel is a panicky situation just play out if I can just resolve it without always throwing a pill back.  But I've always had a nervous kind of life since childhood and some situations have to be dealt with using X.   But back to my point,  it makes me feel "me".   I wish it didn't have any side effects ( like if you go cold turkey you could get cold sweats,  or ornery or worse ),  but at the same time, i think knowing that it cna do that makes me cautious with the product.

Xanax does work differently for different people. If you dont struggle with anxiety or depression on a daily basis then you wont notice them much. However if you have anxiety problems, have hangover after alcohol or speed, Xanax is the best pill in the world. Xanax is also very good when mixed with heroin.
