Don't be too hard on yourself Blue. It's impossible to see the truth about people sometimes, despite our best efforts. And more importantly, don't allow anyone to shake your faith in the value of friendship and trust. KK this reminds me about a post you said about karma, well we all know I got in trouble for posting etiquette and it's over let's move on. But rules are made for a reason. All rules are made for a reason! When I was in Florida I was gone for exactly a week, time to come back and change my resoviour. Oops hit send, I wrote down very simple directions, not to touch plants only add reverse osmosis water when tank hit the level that's they needed more water because they are drinking so much water because they were growing. I told him not I repeat do not touch the plants, do not add anything or remove any leaves, fan leaves are needed for the plant to grow, they give the plant everything they need to grow. Removing one fan leaf can can stunt your plant a week. He removed 12 because he said the bottom was not getting enough life and pruned two branches that is a huge no no! These plants were definitely girls because they were clones from my mother plants. I planned on putting them into flower 12 an 12 when I returned but waited two weeks to let them recover. You don't cut fan leaves you can you use lst, strings to move the branches and leaves around so light can reach the bottom, he also foliar spread them without ph ing the water and didn't ppm the nutes he foliar fed them giving them an overdose of nutes, because you only foliar feed at quarter strength.they had nute burn all over them. I did everything to save them, an afghani#1 and master Kush I kept them I veg and flushed but the stress had even done, i put them In flower and two of the ones he butchered turned hermie and are wrapped up several times and now are in my garbage can, thankfully I cloned them and still have veg plants and one plant n flower that's beautiful, but what you said about karma hit a nerve. I am a total believer about karma now. I didn't follow rules and in return my friend didn't follow my rules and now I had to trash two beautiful plants karma came back and got me for messing up again, truer words could not have been spoken, rules are made for a reason, and we must obey them or that karma will bite you in the ass!
