Most of the people that actually know me, know better. If they call twice and I dont answer they then send a text and if thats no good they stop. I also have this new thing called voicemail.
You sound lucky.  Post your number here and we can show you what you are missing out on.  /default_ph34r.png  Good times... Yazzer!

Oh, it's not 15? Are you sure? 15 calls in a half hour seems reasonable doesn't it? For a non-emergency situation.

Don't you wonder how many times these people would call in a true emergency situation? I shudder to think.
MSD,

I think I know this one.

These are the people who, when you actually say, "Damn, why didn't you call me?"

They reply, "Well, I didn't want to worry anyone..."

I'm pretty sure teenagers often adhere to this ridiculous rule...and frankly, for some (all age groups included), there just aren't enough minutes in the day or brain cells to go around.

Seriously, my phone rings all the time just like everybody else. Its just not the same person calling over and over and over and over and over and over...

hahahaha nice jewy!!!
I just discovered an incredible iPhone feature today. Turns out there's a setting that will automatically silence and decline all calls from the same number that are spaced less than 3 minutes apart. It can also be configured to give the same treatment to anyone you haven't listed as a "favorite" in your contact list. Boom shaka laka! Problem solved. /default_biggrin.png

You can block texts also.

There is also a slient ringtone you can assign to habitual callers.  They hear it ring on their end but all you will see is the missed call should you check your missed call log.  Doesn't even light up the phone.

people who don't wash their hands before cooking.  People who don't say thank you when you hold a door open for them, etc
Good point bobo.  Washing your hands before touching food seems pretty simple.  However, I can really identify with your second pet peeve.  I was brought up to open the car door for your lady, don't honk your horn in driveway, AND look behind you as your going through the door and hold it if there was someone there.  I can't begin to tell you how many people just walk through and don't say a thing.  They don't even look at you.  What the hell is up with that?

I hate when you say good morning to someone and they walk by as if they didn't hear you. Or look at you and still not say anything. Is it that hard.

  2. D @ drdso: It's scary now fr. I'm guessing we're gonna see a lot of exit scammers for former "reputable" veteran vendors. These tariffs/supply chain issues are causing them not to receive product due to seizure/denial. At a certain point they gotta get there money somewhere. Just be careful who you buy from y'all

  11. Alkazar @ Alkazar: Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
  12. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.
