Happypappy, i could not agree more on the whole "good morning" thing! I make eye contact with everyone that crosses my path and either smile or say hi. I have had some mighty weird reactions, the best of which was a loud "fuck you". That was when i lived in NJ. FIGURES! Glad i am back in the midwest where I belong. I was working in manhattan for almost 20 years. A little pleasantry goes a long way. It can even make someone's day! You never never know what kind of hell someone could be going through, and it is our DUTY to be pleasant. That is the way I feel anyway. I am not some over the top do-gooder, but I am ALL ABOUT believing in karma. So, I guess you could say I am sellfish...lol!

And the whole door holding thing........my soon to be ex hubby is a huge door holder. He can only pretty much see outlines of people, cuz of an eye disease, but he holds the door for anyone, men or ladies. It is fucking AMAZING to me how many people, say, at a crowded gas station or something, will just keep walking through and not say a word. He has literally stood there for minutes! That pisses me off so bad. The best thing ever that has happened to him is that he was in a store, without cane. He accidentally knocked over a small display of something and started to try and pick up things, slowly because he cannot see well. I was down the aisle so i rushed to help him, but before i could get there this ASSHOLE started saying "wtf is wrong with you, r u a moron. You are going to pick that up and put it back where it was! Yada yada yada. My hubs waited until he was done and then told him "i am blind and very sorry I knocked it over". That shut his ass up. I do not know wtf is wrong with some people.

Cat,

Karma is amazing!

It can take some time to work its magic, but when it does, it reminds me how glorious it is.

Just when you've given up on things coming through, Karma has a way of showing up and restoring your faith.

Trust me, I'm no angel, but I do believe that goodness attracts greatness.

CITH...alot of people just lack couth and basic human decency.  They have no idea of the Aholes they really are.  I don't question it anymore, because it just is, but gotta say it still really irks me.  But on the flip side, there are some really good people out there that always extend a smile, look ya in the eye, etc and are able to do kind things for others...simple stuff, but stuff that really matters like opening the door for others and so on.  I was raised that way, I raised my girls that way and so on so by far, all is not lost!

wow wth! Believe me I feel your anger. Some people are simply miserable. I feel the same way as far as you never know what someone might be going through. The simple things can brighten ones day and I'm all about that!

The phone.

I never, ever thought I would be one to text but I swear to all that is good in this world that texting has saved me countless hours of irritation.

So, yeah, the phone annoys me.  It's obviously a fundamental component of life; I'm just happy smartphones have come around so that the time spent actually having to speak into the things has decreased dramatically for me, on good days.

Happypappy, that reminds me of my husband who loves to embarrass me by fart and run! He let the biggest stinker go at Macy's counter while I was buying shoes and this uppity lady next to me have me a look to kill for. Then not even a week later he did it at Home Depot and at least this guy was nice, he asked me if someone stepped on a duck! I wanted to commit murder, he loves to embarrass me, what about nice sweet sensitive husbands?

When people slow down to 5mph just because someone is pulled over. How about we keep it moving!

  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh if you are able to DM me (in a secure manner) the transactions associated with your btc theft, i can look into that part for you at least. i;m still 99% certain if the fbi didn't discard my leads they could have gotten some of my coins back and considering you had your coins stolen within the us, you have a much better chance of recovery than me. unless they went through mixers i could probably trace them myself.
