Thanks FG, I smoke a lot of MJ and it makes my brain funny /default_smile.png.
So me being baked a lot and having the munchies often you can see my frustration concerning that car wash place as I would always get very very hungry every time I saw that damn sign!

Actually, we would usually be taking bong hits in the car as it went thru the car wash /default_smile.png .

Annoy? Fuck annoy. I am disgusted at the homophobic words and attitude I have seen on here recently. Annoy is not nearly the word. Disgust, anger, hurt and pain are only a few. If I ever see this happen again, and it is allowed without being shut down immediately, WITH THAT PERSON BANNED, not warned, but banned..well, no further comment. Also, fuck anyone who looks the other way. I am truly sick by what I have seen here recently.

I hope you are ok DVZ, and quite frankly I complete understand..BTW Hooter's quite handy sometimes. And  not by stepping on any Mods toes. There is nothing wrong by helping members out.  That's what this board is about.. .If that helps at all..

What annoys me? Being accused publicly of looking the other way where homophobic comments and insults are concerned, after having shared something very, very personal and private regarding the issue, that's what annoys me. So, since that's how it's going to be, then we might as well lay it right out there on the table for everyone to see. I DO NOT condone, nor tolerate homophobic hate speech, for one, because that type of thing is simply wrong in the first place, and two, because while I was away playing hockey in 1990, my older brother Grant died of AIDS related complications in his mid 20's. So, there you have it. And as for the banned demands, everyone who's been on this board for any time at all knows that moderators DO NOT have the ability to ban, only Admin, that the issuance of warning points is part of the process, and the one that we have the power to affect. So, you want to know what annoys me? That garbage of an accusation annoys me. What? Should I have left all of those posts and resulting responses, inclusive of more profanity, and even veiled death threats, for all to see, putting me in a bad position between the perpetrator of said homophobic slurs and the victims, members I thought were friends, and who I was trying to help? How exactly would that have helped the situation? No, really, let's hear it. Since we're going to call me out publicly and make rather obvious threats about what's going to happen if I handle a situation like this again, in similar fashion, let's just air out all the dirty laundry. Seriously, go right ahead, explain to everyone how it is that I'm just some candy a** looking the other way, and how I don't care about homophobic slurs, having lost a sibling to AIDS, and how leaving retaliatory, inflammatory response posts in public view would have helped this situation. Please, I want to hear this.

I'm sick to death of this crap, and of being called out in a not-so-veiled fashion for my work here at DBG, and what makes it worse is that it's typically done by someone I'm trying to help in some way. You have a problem with me and how I conduct my job, take your demands and backhanded insults to Admin and volunteer your own time if you could do so much better.

Firstly, Jewy I am so very sorry about your brother.  I lost my beloved Dad to AIDS on August 2, 1995.  He was the most loving person I have ever, and will ever meet.  He is, and always will be, my hero.

WTF????  Here we go with more drama?? Wow!  COME ON!!!

I wasn't going to say anything here, as I didn't see the comments that dvz is upset about. But... reading the post again, and seeing the "fuck anyone who looks away" sentence, I feel the need to speak out.

Not everyone who doesn't comment publicly on the board "looks away" or condones bad behavior or out of line comments. There is a REPORT button on every post. This button gets used a lot, as it should be. It brings the post to the attention of those who can act on it. IMO, it's the adult way of handling this type of situation, rather than fanning the already derogatory or "emotionally charged" comments.

@Jewy: I'm very sorry to hear about your brother. Given my work in the financial services industry, I spent a lot of time on Wall Street and in San Francisco (Wall Street West) in the mid to late 80s and early 90s. I had several close friends who were taken by this horrific disease...and knew many more friends of friends who passed from AIDS or AIDS related illnesses. Devastating times, and there are no words to convey the feeling. So, I completely understand your frustration with the comments.

Keep on just the way you have been. YOU are a rock star mod, as is Heisenberg. IMO, you have nothing to apologize for or to defend against. We're lucky to have you both, as is Admin. I know that HE knows it, and I'm sorry if WE (those of us in gen pop) don't say it enough, because we DO know it. How you give as much time as you do is amazing! How you stay so even tempered while giving that time is nothing short of miraculous LOL

Blow outta here today luv, and enjoy your Sunday! If there's a riot while you're gone, so be it! Nothing you can't clean up tomorrow, yeah? :-D

Boredom annoys me. People that look for reasons to be angry annoy me. People that get angry about nonsensical shit annoy me. Ungrateful people annoy me. People with a sense of entitlement annoy me. Hate annoys me. People using money for power annoy me. People that mistreat/abuse others that are weaker/smaller than them annoy me. War and hatred annoy me. People that do absolutely nothing good to give back annoy me, this is not a free ride we are given! The media annoys me. Our government annoys me. People that do not visit their senior relatives regularly annoy me. The left foot on my Dr. Seuss pajamas annoys me. That is all for now.

Awesome! Thanks for covering my list project for me! Well, with the exception of the Dr. Seuss pajamas. Personally, I rock these bad boys at bed time:

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
  5. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Sorry for comment below, but I couldn’t delete. Know I see the
  6. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: Yeah Robert Duvall passing is a hard one. RIP
  7. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Damn. Just heard Robert Duvall passed away Sunday. That’s a tough one. He’s one of my favorite actors. From Lonesome Dove to the Godfather and many others. We will miss you Mr Duvall. You entertained us for 7 decades. RIP
  8. L @ Layne_Cobain: @ClintEastwood make a post about it homie they’re gonna take down your message here cuz shout box isn’t really for talking shop just random shooting the shit exc but yeh just put your message in a post on the forum in the appropriate place and ppl will get at you! 👊 ✌️
  9. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Just wondering if anyone well trusted has a supply of research thienos or benz in powders for good average prices? Or could give a shout out from me to him? Or the best lowest per each? I’ve seen some cool and some i just know are worth it. Good price rv presses too but it is much more bang for your buck. I have one good vendor. But am looking for variety’s well. Send me a message or reply if you think any. Thanks - CLINT E. Any Heavy stuff too which all seem about the ssmmmmmm
  10. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I always thought I should’ve been born in a much earlier time but I will say, i do enjoy my Xbox and occasional TV series tho 😂
  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
