What Are Some Of The Things That Annoy You?

Ya know besides shopping cart handles we touch so many other things with are bare hands everyday - atm screens, gas nozzels, opening all kinds of doors with our hands, other people's mice's at work, that door handle when you leave the bathroom - no wait the door handle on the inside of the stall to open it, then the facet to wash your hands....

Everyone enjoy your dinner.

FG I used to worry about all the germs. Now I'll touch just about anything but always wash my hands upon returning home.

Did you ever wonder what must be stuck to the rubber railing on an escalator?

Yep!! There's one in my building, I use it several times a day...and NEVER touch the rubber railing!

Can you say "things that make you go EEW"

I 'knew' a girl once, who also refused to hold on when riding the escalator.

She also rocked some bad-ass cowgirl boots, so she could practice her "tush push" anytime, anywhere.

She was kind enough to share a good bit of free advice with me, so I'll pay it forward and share it with y'all:

If you refuse to use the railing, you'd best be ready and capable to perform your 'boot scooting' boogie' with gecko toe agility.

You're welcome.

BTW, what is it Jewy always says?

...'useless advice is always free'

Or was it dumb and useless?

Either way, I think I've covered all the bases.

Excessiveness...in any form, and I'm just as guilty of it from time to time. Too much of anything really wears down the original intended purpose or value.

People who come to work SO sick! Ok, I've deemed you a Saint and a Martyr or whatever you're looking for...Now PLEASE go home before we all get it!!

Restaurant Menu's!  I always get bugged out when I can feeeeeeel the grime on them.  Ick.  I am a sanitizing freak.

I'm gonna start being bad again.I was in the library today and I saw someone sitting there.......picking their nose!

C'mon people not in public save it for when no one can see you.

Reminds me of a saying:

You can pick your friends

You can pick your nose

But you can't pick your friend's nose.

Ah c'mon it's not even close to dinnertime yet.

Spilling coffee grounds.

Then spilling more coffee grounds into a tightly woven basket.

Then having no coffee grounds left to make coffee.

Oh yes, it could happen...and does.

When people talk so highly about themselves like their sh*t doesn't stink.

  2. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh if you are able to DM me (in a secure manner) the transactions associated with your btc theft, i can look into that part for you at least. i;m still 99% certain if the fbi didn't discard my leads they could have gotten some of my coins back and considering you had your coins stolen within the us, you have a much better chance of recovery than me. unless they went through mixers i could probably trace them myself.

  9. mellowella @ mellowella: @CalFresh are you and your family safe? You’ve helped me in a pinch and were more than generous, and I’m sure you’ve helped others. How can we help you? Does it help at all if we completely buy out what’s left? Maybe that gives time and funds to restock and rebuild? I don’t want to break any rules here, but please let us know if we can do anything. All on your time of course.
  10. CalFresh @ CalFresh: thanks guys. I'm pulling together what I have left and leaning on the kindness of folks who support me to restock my shelves so that I can keep the lights on. Having my savings drained and my security vanish in an instant is paralyzing and the repercussions will only be realized in the coming days and weeks. for now I'm just trying to stay focused on the immediate priorities for ensuring this doesn't. cause cataclysmic failure to the life I've built for my children and I.

They stole everything I had in my home: cash, electronics, and mags, and forced me to transfer $20K in Bitcoin. it is a huge loss and I'm still reeling trying to figure out what i.can do to recover. For now I'm just trying to secure what little I have left so they can't take anything else. I'm telling you guys cause theres not many others I can tell. please bare w/ me, it'll take a few days to get back up and running
