my TN seems to be stuck since the 18th. no worries? or is this something to be concerned about?
Now my TN seems to have disappeared on the site totally no updatesa nothing. lol i hope its it's in the US now...

I have a tale to tell.  Hopefully one can read between the lines.

My friend, the SWIM, has an exotic bird he calls His Jones.  His Jones has a peculariar appetite for things, some would consider crazy.

So my friend, the SWIM keeps an eye out for these items.  Back late January the SWIM came across this series of links here on DBG, actually in this thread, and reached out to this guy here for a menu.

Several emails later the SWIM and the gentlemen here struck a deal.  Late January the SWIM covered the expense and the items went said to be into transit.  This gentlemen provided a tracking number to ensure his word was valid.

Weeks went by without anything.  Then 3 weeks and four.  The Swim reached out and said, can you confirm the bird seed actually shipped.  I sent you a tracking number, and I have other shipping info show it was headed toward your prescribed destination.

I asked what his policy was on reship as we were outside of normal delivery times.  He replied that IF I could provide the Love Letter from those folks on my end say "got cha", he would reship if I were to pay half of the original cost.  I thought that to be a bit much, but followed the link he provided and entered the tracking number provided.  This touted tracking number showed the birdie candy traveled several hundred miles and entered the Cu$t0ms facility in Belgr@de late January and that's where the trail ends.

So, now I send another email.  Explaining the items were snagged in his country and I would not receive the Love Letter, so I'd be out the total cost and Jones my birdie would go without.  It goes without response.

My next correspondence went unanswered, where I told him I should be paying nothing if he couldn't get the chit out of his own back yard.  I felt he should do a reship of the total order free and as a compromise at least reship half the original order.  I told him he needed to make this right.

I told him of how another Bird treat supplier from DBG, had a shipping issue and how he reshipped at his expense. That little piece of good will netted him far more in the long run than it cost in the short run.

Over the last 2 weeks I have sent 4 emails.  All I can see have been read, but no response back.  Not even a FO.

It just goes to show, sometimes you land in the Zone and sometimes the Zone lands on you.
I enjoyed your tale, but at least you got a reply from your questions via email!  I finally received 3/24 and funds were picked up early 1/27.  I've asked her to reply to re-ship policy twice here, twice in email as suggested by admin. on 2/24.  No reply.  She promised here on 3/4 to reply to all emails.  Didn't happen.  I've been polite and patient, as well as a couple of others here who received no private or public replies.  I ordered from another vendor after no reply in Feb.  Perhaps larger orders receive replies?  I have no idea but communication is essential.  Never had such a lack.  If she doesn't work weekends, or travels, no problem.  Just communicate.

Your right Gina communication is the key especially in your case as your wait seems very long.A short email goes a long way!.

Odd.  Zone is pretty quick in responding to me.  I have placed both small and large orders.  I hope you get your response/letter(s)  ASAP!

This is my first post here so go easy on me :)

I was really apprehensive about using an e-mail vendor but I bit the bullet and placed an order with Zone for 200 diaz. There was no shipping fee and they were very poilte and helpful. I had an issue with MG flagging my payment but I just used WU instead and everything went fine.

I ordered on Friday 25th March and receieved the package on Tuesday 29th in the UK which was the first working day after the bank holiday. The package was ultra discreet.

I haven't taken diaz in a long time but the quality seemed excellent and they did exactly what I expected them to.

I usually take zopiclone, which unfortunately this vendor doesn't carry right now, but if they did I likely wouldn't bother with anyone else.

Very quick. Very professional. Good prices. I recommend this vendor without hesitation.

I cannot complain about Z either on the communication or the t/a front. I expect there has been a boom in business given what's happening elsewhere. I ordered, paid and recieved my confirmation of postage with my TN on Friday the 25th. I'm hoping it lands today with it being a bank holiday weekend in the UK I was factoring this in. I see a couple of other letters have dropped in the UK the past couple of days so hoping it's my turn. I'll update fully when I've recieved. But so far Z has been a pleasure.

I posted earlier today that arrival was 3/24, from early 1/27 funds pick up.  Sorry.  Serious lack of communication for a few of us, and if you read back you'll see we were polite.  Quite possibly larger orders might get email replies when delays occur or when re-ship policy is asked.  Have no idea.  Have never had a vendor do this.  She'll learn, jmo.

Lol.  I have never had a problem but it is strange.  Fund pick up seems slower than usual too.

Hopefully things will improve.  Med quality is excellent though.

Well today isn't my lucky day such is the way it seems to be right now. I know this is a small group but is anyone else who had a shipment on the 25th still waiting or do you think I have anything to worry about? I'm based in the UK and have seen the turnaround be about 4 days. My TN seems to be stuck on the 26th GB. It's obviously still within the time frame quoted it's just after everything that's happened recently I don't have the energy or resources for another mishap. Not on Zones part I'll add...the other side. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks guys unfortunately the GB tracking never worked. I'm not panicked or maybe I am lol. "it was easter for goodness sake and it's royal mail" is what the rational says and then the fear kicks in. But it's only been 6 days since order I'm confident it'll be tomorrow or Saturday and not desperate desperate....give it a fortnight. I'll try to keep the feed clean and when I have anything concrete to report I'll update. I'm super new to this so sorry admin if this isn't appropriate

Bloody hell. Ordered late at night on the 30th. Shipped 31st. Arrived today. Super impressed. It's only one transaction but based on my limited experience I would reccomend for any new people looking for a vendor.

  4. LW815 @ LW815: Know what’s really going on in somebody else’s head or how much they’re really dealing with and feel like they’re left with no other options. Been a very sad few days but 2 complete (irl anyway) strangers cared enough about what I was going through to talk to me about it, though they owe me nothing and have no reason to help my personal pain other than the kindness in their own hearts. Just shows that this place is a real community, not just a forum of people who only care about themselves.
  5. LW815 @ LW815: Was nodding in/out the entire time writing those shouts and spparently was fully out sending the last one lol. But II find it ‘uplifting’ as two people I’ve never actually met and only know the others online presence through subscriptions, who I have a better chance of getting a handy J from Jesus Christ himself, both were so quick to share their own experience and wise words and assurances that things will look up and not to feel guilty or be mad at somebody for going that route - as you never
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: @hotdog45 meh, same difference. they both got blacklisted on here. wouldn't be the first time a rogue shop sent out unsolicited comms after the fact.

  9. LW815 @ LW815: Sent a simple conf email and I just dropped a ball on them. I really just needed to let it out, didn’t expect them to reply in such a thoughtful way that it drastically changed the rest of my day and mindset for the bette . 10. LW815 @ LW815: They didn’t need to. They could have just continued on with the nature or the main purpose of what the relationship between us is, I didn’t really have anybody else to let it out to at the time and they both went far beyond what I’d expect. Not that I’d assumed they’re cold/A-holes - it was just a lot from somebody who’s technically a competent stranger. A very close friend of mine committed suicide on Father’s Day and iwas emotionally wrecked witih nobody to talk to, and the first author just
  11. LW815 @ LW815: @Mokachin0 not really uplifting in the normal sense, but two popular authors on here took the time out of their likely very busy days to not only read my massive walls of text, but both also replied with the most kind, thoughtful and positive responses when I randomly dumped my personal problems into their laps
  12. H @ hotdog45: I have never ordered mags from him I meant
  13. H @ hotdog45: @xenxra I thought that too but after digging on the site it is chemical cabinet. Either way I deleted the email. I have ordered mags from him, but I thought you guys should know he's reaching out to people again. After reading the thread if anyone gets an email from him I would suggest doing the same.
