*** A teenage family member made me listen to this today, she listens to the "radio edited" version- which obviously this is not. Since I love all different kinds of music, I had to check it out.. Of course, I was all about the 80 movies love with the DeLorean in the video! And you can't argue with the creativity of the lyrics.. just a sample "20 dollars in my pocket, I'm hella happy that's a bargain bitch, I'm a take your grandpa's style, no for real can I have his hand me downs? Velour jumpsuit and some house slippers, $50 for a T-shirt? that shirt's hella dough, I wear your granddad's clothes, I look incredible, I'm in this big ass coat from that thrift shop down the road..."

And he is right- $50 dollars is hella dough for a T-shirt!!

As most of you know, hubby has an '03 100th Anniversary Edition Harley Duece...very sweeet ride...but the ONLY time I pay $50 for a "tshirt" is when it says Harley Davidson on it.

Our inside joke: People think HD stands for Harley Davidson, but we know that HD REALLY stands for "Hundred Dollars"; which is what we spend (at least) every time we walk into our local HD store.

But Lord knows, HD does make a hella tshirt! ;-)

Denise- I can totally relate to that. And music is like a therapy- or get away for me too. A great song with some great lyrics- refreshing even just for a little bit..
