PurelyChem

So you saying in order to become a vendor you need to deposit money into an account ran by moderators ? Just trying to understand what you saying
Something simple like that, or what are the other options?

It's really a matter between the site's owner/s and the vendors who aren't and can't be verified so we know they're good to go, or good to pay back members if they bomb out.

The vendors are hiring space here to sell their goods, they pay the site's owner/s for the privilege, but they don't pay an insurance deposit in case they damage the place, so the members take the financial risk and I don't think it has to be that way. I think if scammers can get in here too easy it will kill the place eventually.

I reckon a deposit is a no-brainer to keep the low level scammers out - that would change the vibe here enormously and probably attract more genuine vendors too. What self respecting business wants to sell where there's so many scammers coming and going. It's an idea I propose for some discussion and I think it's workable, or at least worth trying out.

Probably needs a thread of its own. What you reckon?

***FYI*** i received my subscription the other day but haven't had time to update the DBG fam, or even read up on his reviews lately to see what's happened.

LONG STORY SHORT I ordered a subscription for 10 bottles of Oxygen and each weighed 80 ( IDK, make up a word). The Author said all of the bottles are blistered in the original packaging. The bottles of Oxygen i received were LOOSE. but i bought test strips that tested for fent and posiible Xyl. i will retest asap cause to double check.

Sounds like some good news. Would like to know the test results?

Vendor got in touch to say I'd get a refund soon. I'll post if/when it happens.

The warning above still applies if anyone is thinking of making an order.

You're saying it tested positive for fent??

I completely agree with you. Seems like the betting on suggested vendors has been lacking, maybe an insurance deposit could help the problem of these scammers cause I definitely was scammed by HighRC for over 2k. I understand it's hard to fully vet these new vendors and I truly appreciate the admins n moderators cause without them site wouldn't be what it is but yeah I see your perspective and agree. Start the thread dude I'll def tap in n voice my opinion

i am waiting on product or refund as well. as of a few days ago they said gve btc addy and 1 week to see whats up with tracking and i will get a refund......

Yeah this dude is clearly running a scam.

I hate that I gave any sort of positive review for him.. But it was just for a sample, which I did in fact receive... And I always follow through with a review when given a sample. And I made it clear in my review that's what it was.

No blame mate, but that's the problem with verifying anyone off samples. Anybody could buy some and send for reviews and it gives the appearance they have the goods.

In this case it looks like we've all been had. Again. (my own was admittedly only a test order, but I'm not likely to make another any time soon, best to go with the tried and true, enough with the unverified (with samples) that turn out to be scammers with no real goods to deliver)

He's said the same to me for weeks now. The latest is his new wallet is on hold and then he'll send. Looks to me he's just playing for time to milk this thread before it gets blacklisted, and I wonder why it hasn't been.

Of course, if I do get a refund I'll let you know. And pigs will fly. Prove me wrong @purelychem

@Admin I'm happy to go through this thread and report any post with his contact details for you to delete? And what's the cut-off point a dud vendor gets blacklisted? Still waiting to see if he refunds me and others?

Hard to believe he doesn't know enough about crypto by now to pay his debts. Business 101.

Moved to the blacklist and banned.
Too many members waiting on mags and refunds.

We do give ample time before blacklisting vendors to give them the chance to make things right.
Once banned the chances of a refund are very slim.
I do believe there is nothing left for him to milk here, his contact info on the first post has already been deleted over a week ago. And if you read the latest pages of this thread it speaks for itself, I can not stress enough how important it is to read the last pages of a vendor's thread to see if there are no issues before ordering a book.

That makes good sense, is why we (because it wasn't just me) didn't call for banning at first, to leave space for refunds to happen. Trouble is it also effectively leaves space for him to scam some more, and he's made the same offer of a refund to me 3 or 4 times now - and others, 'in a week' he says.

The latest was just last night, right after I posted he should be blacklisted now and you and I msg'd about the security deposit thing - What I recently started a thread on. If this guy had paid a security deposit he probably wouldn't have gotten away with so much for so long - spilt milk now, I know, but at least some of it could have been prevented.

If he's not milking the thread why's he still saying 'a week' and all will be well, when nobody who's been paying attention believes a word of it, if only for the chance of the incidental and unwary passerby making an order. I'd like to believe he means well with his offers of refunds but that's too close to what you'd expect from a scammer - preying on hope, and especially given the other factors detailed by me and other members in this thread his offers of refund 'in a week' have been beyond incredible for a while now.

So it begs the question, why is he still making (at least up to this point he's been banned) the offer of a refund if it's not going to happen and if there's no upside to it for him. I'd like to understand, what's your understanding? Do you think he kids himself he'll actually do it? Who knows, right.

You know your business better than I do, but I have often searched something here and landed in the middle of a thread where vendors contact details are very often repeatedly posted and the unwary could easily act on them - as they do. But your house, your call. I'd wipe his contact details out.

Anyway, on the bright side, I hope your efforts re the security deposit thing are fruitful. 👍
