Moving on and forgetting about my 9/25 order. Placed small order today and hoping for the best.

Okay guys, I don't mean to sound harsh but hear me out.

I know the situation is pretty nerve-racking but all this negativity is not helping anyone.

Instead of the daily "STILL NOTHING. IM SO F*%#&ED!!!!!" posts, how about you just hold off on the comments until you actually have something informative to share. All your doing is contributing to the panic and there's no need for that.

Instead of freaking out, and cluttering this thread with useless negativity you should be spending your time reading up on other vendors so you can get the meds you need.

There are plenty of reliable sources here. Just look around, I'm sure you'll find what you need.

And if you need help, just ask me and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.

Now let's all just take a deep breath together. Okay, Ready?

Inhaaale........ Exhaaale.....

Everything is going to be fine.  /default_smile.png

By the way, thank you @Johnnog & @Ehpawk for the info.

Also @Dutcher for the receive report. I hope that boosts some optimism around here.
s
I was gonna say the same thing but u beat me to it. Lets not clog the threads with useless posts. It just makes it hard for people to get the correct information from the thread. Strikes come and go, things get delayed. It is thenature of the beast. Of COURSE if you are addicted to something you should try and have backups. Not everyonecan and believe me, WE GET IT.

Also, please understand i am sympathetic to everyones needs. It is just that this thread is nonsensical to read because of the "still not received" posts. Perhaps I have been through this one too many times. I supppose thats why I am a Mod.....lol

Official response from D. at ttm: : "Our national Postal Service is currently operating short staffed and claim to be running on a 10 day processing backlog which is resulting in delivery taking longer than the average you are accustomed to."

That being said, imagine how large the backlog was on 9/25 when they resumed service!!! With only a 10 day backlog I'm willing to order again.

In short 9-25ers it is coming...

If you are indeed desperate at this point and cannot wait much longer there's a "Mex Rx" that's a "Hot Topic" right now in the forums that seems to be rapid and excellent!

In fact, I've been in contact with them regarding samples. Although they've been vouched for by several senior members, I want to take baby steps.

Check it out as an alternative and keep in mind they aren't cheap.

As a member of the 9-15 club I would like to let others know that I received today (10-17).

Postmark is mostly unreadable but I can see what appears to be a 23, so if I had to guess it went out on 9-23.

Products all packed and labeled well, have not had a chance to sample yet but I'm guessing the quality is the usual.

In the NE US BTW.

Ordered yesterday (first time) for anxiety; hoping normality has resumed. If not I'm out big time.

Still waiting on my order placed 09/17, mailed 09/23. Normally shipping to my location is faster than to the US so naturally a little concerned some of those are showing up in the US now but mine is evidently somwhere else in the system (hopefully not seized /default_sad.png ).

Have placed another small order as a hopfeul saver in case later mail might get though faster, mailed 10/15, so just have to wait & see now.

There is still trouble with the strikes btw, so I'd say 'normal' service is still a fair ways from being resumed what with the backlog that must have built up.

Sorry this took so long but I've had major computer issues.

mailed 9/15

postmarked 9/23

received 10/11

HAPPY!!!

I've read back quite a few pages but couldn't find anyone who had ordered recently (last week or two) and received their orders. I really wanna place a small sample order but wanted to make sure some new ordered had gotten through.

It's up to you bg but I know others have reordered but I don't believe they received yet.

If it were me I get an order in the pipeline cause deliveries are going to start taking longer anyway as the holiday season gets underway. Just make it a small order.

You're absolutely right. I'm just not feeling 100% with ordering from this vendor yet even it it's something small. I have my other SY vendor that I just need to take the plunge with even though it's $$$. Having w 4 year old and saving up for Christmas definitely puts a damper on these things. But hey, he's worth it. I'm gonna try to swing it. Thank you HB. 😘

Before this postal strike shit, TTM was the bomb! Hardly a complaint. This situation will work itself out.

Look for the cheapest item(s) on the menu. I wouldn't get the insurance but that's me. I don't believe that many members do.

anybody else unable to get the ttm website to come up? I cant even get the page to load

Things do not look good.  This is from a national newspaper yesterday:

THE cash-strapped, strike-hammered SA Post Office (Sapo) is on the brink of collapse, MPs heard on Wednesday.

"The financial situation of the post office is dire. It is seriously dire," Sapo GM of public affairs Andrew Nongogo told Parliament’s communications and public enterprises select committee.

Referring to the strikes that have crippled post office operations over the past 10 weeks, he warned the parastatal was losing customers and money, and suggested there might not be enough to pay salaries at the end of the month.

"The fact that we are not at work right now (due to the strike), and we are losing customers, we are losing the public in general, means that there is no money — that should be coming into Sapo — that would allow us (to) even go and continue to pay salaries on the 25th."

*****************************

I'm not posting this to bring you all down, just to warn you to be aware that serious problems are continuing.  The article mentioned not just burned mail trucks but also vandalised post offices, many of which have been shut down because workers are afraid to enter them.  Maybe a lot of your letters are sitting inside those closed branches.  And if they can't pay the salaries this month that would make things more chaotic.

BUT...there was a mention of a news blackout because "sensitive negotiations" are underway.  Let's hope that's a good sign.  GLTA

fuck that is disconcerting. wish I would have pursued other options but the convenience they provided ultimately won me over in the end

Something is not right. I am waiting on a 9/29 mailing. I just logged on to check mail status and was told that my account was "pending authorization" to access. I have been a loyal customer with a current outstanding order, but can't log on until my account is "authorized". Proceed with caution folks....

  7. Alkazar @ Alkazar: It is really annoying\
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
  9. Alkazar @ Alkazar: I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.
  10. Z @ zdaBa: Happy Saturday, love you all <3

  14. xenxra @ xenxra: @LW815 from my experience, CP strikes usually tend to leave the snails alone

  16. C @ Callmejonah: methadone
  17. LW815 @ LW815: @Alkazar would that effect snail mail arriving to the US from CA in any impactful way?
