While I totally agree with you, it's a little tough right now not having the new email. I usually order about once a month with Alex...my last post two pages back (p. 234) was about last month's transaction, when he gave me overnight delivery even though I had only paid for two-day. Also, how consistent, reliable and smooth he's been to deal with for so long. I guess I let my complacency get the better of me this time. I've waited till the last minute to place an order with him for tomorrow morning. I haven't been on this thread since my last order on Jan. 18, and so I'm now just learning about his new email. I should have paid more attention to this thread and the last two pages of posts.Alex and I go back, he told me a long time ago he was going private and sent me the new email, and we even discussed pros and cons and potential issues. Sounds like it is official now? (I have been using the new email for a while now.) Honestly, glad to see it and hope people don't give his email out indiscriminately (thus negating the reason for going private to begin with!)
I agree and in the past I remember so many going private; and those ones who did, took a certain amount of customers whom they emailed with them. I know 3 to be exact. And this goes back at least 6 years ago. Maybe he doesn't want all the clientele which is why he went private. Just my 2 cents.
