@2earls I haven't had a lucky day w/Alex in three months...LOL!  But, I completely understand he gives priority to long-term, loyal customers; he definitely should.  I just wish he was able to get additional stock.  :(   He's always been patient, honest and actually has a really great sense of humor (with me, at least).  I would love for him to be my, "go-to" guy.  But, you never, know, you could be right...perhaps, I will have a lucky day (or better yet, some lucky years) ahead.  :lol:

A quick (kinda) review of my most recent order with Alex.

Checked for stock on the 11th because I wanted to order double usual.

Sent payment late on the 11th. The payment had a rough journey, went missing in another zip code over the holiday. The service insisted it was signed and delivered for in the correct place. My communication with Alex  during this was sporatic and unusual.

On the 18th, late, Alex let me know they were able to track down the money at a alt location.

Shipped 19th Recieved 20th

Short 25 out of 180.  I let him know about the shortage. I let him know I would appreciate the rest of my order but I am also good with just considering this order finished. And no hard feelings. He has been a solid,honest, reliable source to me for over 2 years. I have always reccomended Alex. I have no reason not to reccomend him still and I am not upset that my recent order did not go the way Im used to. I just have intuition. Ive seen flags before and know what to do. I know it is always best to have a back-up source. and a back-up for your back-up:)

Ahh... I've been gone for a while and really wanted to place another order with Alex. But I see his email is pretty exclusive now.  :P   So, how do I get a super snazzy invite to this party??  :huh:   

 
Uh oh - After reading the thread, I see why my email just bounced.  Alex has been great for over a year and unless it was accidentally deleted, it doesn't look like I got the new invite :huh:

To finish the review of my last order:

I emailed Alex and let him know my order was short 25#. I didnt remind him that he had also promised extras.

He replied explaining he has been sick, is so sorry and he will send the missing pills with my next order.

Im basically a reasonable person. I am always willing to compromise. I wont even be replying to that kind of nonsense. To even suggest that I would send more money to recieve the pills I Already Paid For..lol. Not gonna happen friend  :)

This is not at all like the Alex I know (knew?). Excuses aside, the Alex I know would have shipped those missing pells on his nickel immediately.

There has been a time or two I have had a short. Only by 3-4 and so it would make more sense to send with the next order. I get that.

But once you get into numbers like #25 count.....

Its disappointing. Ive been a good customer. I've never claimed fakes, Dont email every 5 minutes, Always send the right amount of money, Never complain when I pay overnight and get 2day shipping, I leave good feedback and always say please and thank you and sorry and everything else. Its whatever.

All I will say and then I wont post in Alex's thread anymore-  I have recieved probably 75+ orders from Alex over the past couple years. I know how he does his shit. All you regulars of him know what I mean. This order was wrapped by; Im guessing a silly 5 year old. Messy. By someone not accustomed to the fine mechanics of scotch tape. :blink:  I get changing a email etc. Why you would need to change everything  all the way down to how you number a sticker is just weird. 

BUT...Im sure it is all fine. Im just picking because I didnt get my way. AND..I still love Alex, hes just being a major douchebag right now :) .Freakn Obama, this shit is all his fault.:)

 
Please feel free to post anything of interest about this vendor. I'm taking off the "reviews only" for the time being. I think it's in our best interests to know if there are any changes besides emails here. So if communication is different or anything noticed out of the norm, let's discuss it.

 
When the "new" email issues starting occurring again recently(he did something similar maybe 6 months ago- but at that time the old email still continued to be a well used public one) I did a hello and stock check with him via new email.

i asked about my usual pk which he never has, one hard to find study aid which previously he said he doesn't carry, and submarine 8 strips also not a regular menu item - at least that was his answer one time.

I received an immediate impersonal reply confirming all in stock but no details- We have always discussed brands, imprints, color etc along with the weather, our families, my dogs...........

He said he changed emails to get away from all the customers who were "bothering" him - Alex?

Soooo.....I'll need to chat with him more before I'm comfortable

I know I am new here so my review may not count for much, but here ya go:. I have used Alex for the majority of my things the last year or so.  I almost always receive within 24 hours of payment the max being 48.  He has helped me in odd circumstAnces based on our history.  He is upfront if the item is not in stock.  I believe there was one time he messed up on that.  I have gotten 2 orders since 2/5,. I do not order the PK, though, so I don't know if that area is okay.  Alex is a great vendor for me.?

 
All reviews are important, whether you are a brand new member, or a veteran. Especially on this thread at this time.
