Hey all,

I haven't posted in forever because I kept having issues with my access to this thread. I think I donated 4 times and gave up.  I would still read thread updates and figured I would give it a shot logging in again and ......voila!

Anyway, I have also ordered from A many times over the last few months. Most recently recv'd a present on 2-20.

Ordered rock climbing gear- excellent quality

 Also ordered Vikings- were supposed to be doc Watson but we're actually 3/6/7s- IMO not nearly as good. Plan to reorder today and will post results.

*I also have never known A to short by 25+. This makes me wonder whether it is the same vendor. There have been a few times where  a few were short but corrected on next order. I never minded him not resending 2-3 items immediately. He has never not made it up to me 

 
I received an updated menu from him last night.  The communication seemed normal to me for A.  He was polite, brief and to the point and 

ended his email with his typical smiley face :)  emoji.  I was planning on placing an order from him but went with another vendor.  It did take A a much longer time to respond to my email but I figured he was busy.  I will wait and see how this plays out before I place an order.

 
A general note (based on recent interaction) about Alex given the request for feedback after the email change, etc - been a long time fan and follower and I have no reservations with him at all post email change, still one of our best.

 
Good to see the reviews. Whether it's old Alex or a new one, he seems to intent on running a decent business.

My only doubt was that since the change, all the personal chit chat that Alex and I used to do has ceased. It's all business, and for us, that is very unusual. I don't have any tricks to find out because it would have to go back to the old email. We stopped using it months ago and I can't remember what we talked about 6 months ago, I can barely remember last week

Found a temp. solution in the interim but still keeping fingers crossed Alex may have only been temporarily possessed and will soon return to his old self again soon :D .  The more positive feedback on recent interactions the better - fully agree.

 
I still do have some personal chit chat here and there. He sort of let on that he has been a little stressed and overwhelmed. I think that had a lot to do with the email change and the change in his tone at times.  And apparently he has been sick since last Friday and isn't 100% yet. Placed an order that should arrive today and will post review once recv'd. 

 
This is my current order status with A. I was going to hold off until completed but I see the hesitation with people and figured I would post now.

Ordered on 2/12: Now something happened which was none of mine or A's fault and he didnt recieve my donation for way longer then he should have, I actually thought I was screwed but it eventually worked out, A got it figured it for us, but I dont think I can post on here about shipping, so if anyone wants to know about that situation you can PM me.

Anyways, I recieved a little less than half my order on 2/22, because he didn't have the full order. He has been waiting to send the rest of my order. 2 days ago he said he thought it would be that day he would be able to send out, but I haven't heard back since then or recieved. 

I'm also pretty confident this is the same A as always. Me and A always exchange 30-50 e mails every order. I'm 99% sure it's still him because he knows stuff with me only he could know and just the way he uses certain words with me I believe it is still him. 

I only get purple ifa's, same good quality as always.

I will update when I recieve my 2nd part of the order.

 
I have an unusual status review that is actually in progress, I have dealt almost exclusively with Alex for a long time, we know personal details of each other, PKs. I have an emergency situation today, I have a daughter who lives in another state, who has struggled with severe anxiety/depression, but was doing better, just have a major setback: one of her friends, who she was helping get clean, had a major intentional overdose and may not make it. This put my 26 year old daughter into a MAJOR anxiety/panic attack. She has good success with 2 mg Xanax for her anxiety attacks, but she hasn't had them for a while so she has none and no script. In the middle of her meltdown she went to the doctor this morning, but since she'd got tattoos and looks a little "punky" they assume she is a druggie, so all they would give her was a script for an antidepressant which takes 3 weeks to kick in and will not give her xanax, So she is in a complete meltdown. And since she's clean and drug free, no "connections" to get a few xanax,

So I sent Alex an email just an hour ago, I said my friend if you read this I have a crisis. He repsonded within minutes. I told him my situation, he said he was afraid the fastest he could get her something was Tuesday but he would check, Then 20 minute later I got the kinda standard "$x.xx per pill" and the cut and paste info for MG and WU.

Well, I haven't used WU/MG with him for over a year, so I asked him for the CIM info like we've been doing and is there any way he could ship before he got the money to get it to her ASAP. And no response now for 25 minutes. Just seems kinda odd - hard to explain. Fast response, how can I help, wish I could this but this may be the fastest, then nothing for a while, then the cut and paste of a method I don't use with him, then no reply when I ask for the CIM info. Also, I have no idea what 2mg x a n a x goes for but it seems awfully cheap!

Hopefully he'll come through and I'll complete this review of him being awesome as usual - but the cut and paste of a method I don't use with him and then teh long delays in response when we'd been talking emergency situation.... just odd.

 
Well I dont know what to say - he was replying immediately, knows this is an emergency, we've known each other for a long time, but once I asked him for the CIM info instead of the wire info no reply at all and it has been over an hour. Also the price seems far too low -  I looked on the website of eiffel and the price they have for this generic is about 3 times what he quoted.

This is just really odd for Alex. I've sent him a couple of follow up "are you still there?" emails - we were having a back and forth conversation and he just vanished. :(

 
@sciatic, my experience with the old(?), new(?) Alex, was that sometimes it takes him awhile to send that particular info you need. I hope you get what you need and can get it to your daughter ASAP. The 'official' medical scene is a disgrace.

I made a donation to my favorite church to the south of me on 2/22. after the minister and I had our usual, brief morning back and forth, We decided I try a new to me, apparently easier and more efficient avenue in giving. little did I know that the fine print contained more cons than pros in weighing my decision...even the cons hand their own sub cons! lol.  Deep down I knew it wasn't going to go as well as 97% of the previous interactions where I physically walked down to the local store and getting er done then moving on knowing everything past that is in good hands. Anyway, I tried the four letter X-factor place. at first it was incredibly easy and whizzed through the request to completion.  Next thing you know the terms pop up and basically say there's going to be a "minor" delay...well, they basically said since i'm a first time user of that service, my ducats would not be available to be liberated until the following day about the same time (also flanked by a barrage of questions over the telephone). 

By that time it was an hour past C/O for that morning on 2/24 so it wouldn't be until 2/25 before my contribution was received. I forgot to mention earlier that I asked A if he would deduct this and that from my request to equal enough so we would be square, to be able to switch from dos dia to ON. Very late on the night of 2/25, I get my TN and in lock step with everything else that was unusually painful this time, it didn't get the upgrade for one reason or another.  

for fear that I would read online that the fruit basket was going to be delivered on 2/26 only to have it get delayed even another day (which would have been Monday), I chose to drive about 80 miles round-trip to pick it up at the fruit stand.  

ill have to say this, if this would have happened, 6 months ago, I bet my Heine there would have been more communication like there used to be  and we could have figured something else out quicker. IMO, there were a couple (or more)  'apprentices' working with A, and I sincerely believe I have corresponded with all of them and one of the the very green ones is presently minding the store  I hope A  hasn't retired and is just taking a vacation or is sick or taking more of a consulting role. He deserves to get some much needed rest and he should takes and long as it takes  but eventually comes back. The other thing might be he just got in over his head, is under the weather and is prioritizing his time which means cutbacks on the chit chat and sincerity. I was fortunate enough to get the  fruit basket I wanted: blueberries, alpos 2 (food for my dog of course). BTW, Dones...you think this is too long a post? Me too. Hey...what about this weather?  it's clon-up-in temp lately, but add-dur-all, it's only Feb!! 

 
To give more info on my previous post, A finally responded late last night with the pricing, stock status, and CIM info, and apologized for being so late in responding. He said he was sorry, he'd spent yesterday very busy, yes he had both in stock (1 mg, 2 mg) and "Sorry i had to meet with a supplier and pay checks of my people and do some other things sorry"

I immediately responded with a request for when the materials would arrive if I ordered this morning, as the banks and post office closes at 12:30 AM Eastern Time, and 'm in an emergency situation, truly, and will need to drive these to my daughter, and have not heard back yet, While this is going on, thanks to our incredible mod @2earls I have another option I also hope to here from this morning.

I'm not convinced this person who replied is A. He and I have a very personal connection, he knows a lot about my family situaton and there is always some personal back and forth from him and he usually mentions my wife's name (he knows she is from Mexico) in the emails, especially when we talk about my daughter's issues. There's none of that here. Still speculation and just adding all this for data - at the end of the day (literally) even if I don't use him due to @2earls help, he did finally respond with the info last night.

 
 
I haven't heard back from A in 4 days about my 2nd letter still. Seems kind of odd since he's responding back to other people. Kind of worrying me a little, If I don't hear back from him by at least Monday night I'm going to have to assume I got hit, and it''s a big lick. Has anyone else talked to A very recently, anymore successful orders?

 
@countryrufus pm me if you don't hear anything by Monday night as taking a "hit" is not acceptable here. Delays and typical issues are the name of the game but never sending items paid for,

won't fly. Let's hope it's just a stock issue or something!

@painit4word, I think if you want people to actually read your reviews, you need to edit!
