Alex (Formerly Troy-Pharma.com)

Are the vikes 853s or something else?
I understand they are legitimate 853's. It may be another day before we get reports of arrivals, but A was confident they are good. Alex states he made a lot of effort to find 'good ones' and he is still confused by the reports of fakes, considering his volume there have been very few complaints. I am only commenting as I asked for these specifically, but turned them down for OX, until more word is in.

@rdkdanny The eightfittytrees I received last week from A were all fakes. No doubt about it.

Here are the deets about my most recent order:

4/10 Ordered Rocks 30s and $$ sent

4/14 A gets stock in, asks if he can send combo of Rocks and P3rcs, asks me to change receiver info. TN rcvd.

4/15. Letter rcvd. Great quality, but I'm missing a bunch of the P3rcs he said were coming. Got text that $$ was picked up hours after letter delivered.

Emailed A about the quantity - solution TBD.

sorry fellow DBG-rs, I swooped in early, early EST 4/15 and asked A to hit me with any and all remaining inventory of his 30 Rock collection (it's a great series). So he may be out for a few days if that is your DOC.  /default_rolleyes.gif

So you received them already? Quality? Remember to post a review ONLY after receiving them. Letting the world know you have something on the way is a BAD idea. If your neighbor was a member, and you did not know, and happened to get your letter, I bet ya would not be too happy? No need to reply until ya get em. Good luck!

I thought I was pretty ambiguous as to whether I had actually placed an order or not and what was going on /default_unsure.png . The post was more of a semi-cryptic inventory update for DBG'rs :/ fail on my part I suppose, peanut strikes me down once again /default_sad.png

I was not doubting you at all. Alex appears to have acknowledged there was an issue with that lot. I hope he sorted you out amicably?

The comment I made was regarding a statement he made that am, that he found 'Good' Vikings. All appears to be well with that lot according to posts in this thread? I do know Alex makes things right, when there is a problem; historically.

Alex is also stating that he is telling all buyers that this is a new supplier and he is sure that they are good, as he ate a couple himself. For someone who understands pain, as does Alex, it is only further sign of his commitment to us. However, it is not an entirely altruistic viewpoint; he is clearly stating he will not process replacements for items he has tried himself.

I know where I will be shopping. Thankfully the OX has all been straight, every last one I have tried is fresh and impactful. I just ask questions, I do not feel he has ever ignored a single one or been evasive in a reply IMHO.

If you take a look back at my last few posts, you'll notice my patience with A had worn very thin b/c of numerous errors on his part.  I'd been waiting for him to make good on his shortcomings, and though he fell short a number of times, we're finally "even" now.  Product quality was good, Dwayne Johnsons....first vowel too1fyve

still annoyed that it took so long to make a simple mistake right (and the fact that there were several mistakes made along the way), but I figured I'd let everyone know he did the right thing and we're now square.

Ordered 4/15

Shipped same day

Received 4/17 (2 day shipping)

Rockie Mtns., A+

Supply still seems to be an issue, but not only does A actually respond quick to CS questions, he's honest about the state of things and will notify you of any changes.

All around A+++

Sorry for the late update but I'm having real problems with this new format/platform.

Received: 4/16

Product: Rocky Mountains, 30th level

CS/Quality: A+

Hi mbs1,

I am so glad you mentioned the platform changed. I thought my computer was crashing or something weird was happening. lol. Thanks for the post! /default_smile.png

Mumster99 wanted me to post his review  for him:

I ordered 4/15

received 4/17

rock grear and small order of eight fifty threes.

everything is A plus quality.

I haven't seen a review of A's Dillys for quite some time.  Has anyone tried these lately?  Interested in what other customers have to say about them

Just received my make up order from the previous order of mostly fakes. This order was all fake 853s. The same chalky easy to break ones that burn on the tongue.

Crud.  Thanks for sharing, was just going for that.  Sorry you are dealing with that.

Order Update....

Ordered & Received in 21 hours....another great job by A

Before I comment on the product, however, I'm waiting to hear back from A.  I'm hoping there was either a miscommunication or typo when he quoted me the price.  I ordered Dills, and based on the price I just assumed I was getting the 8mg, which seems to be the standard strength that the SY folks carry.  However, I received the 4s.  Now, he never specifically said which I'd be getting, but based on the price, I never in a million years thought I'd be getting the 4s.

His prices are very comparable to Eiffel's, sometimes more expensive, sometimes less (but always within a dollar or two either way).  The difference on these, if the price proves correct, is outlandish.  I could've gotten the 8s from E for only $4 more/pill than I paid for the 4s from A.

I'm assuming this was either a mistake or typo, or at least I'm hoping it was.  I can't see him price-gouging like that.  Granted, his prices are crazy expensive (in my opinion), but they're no different than what seems to be standard these days.

Will update when I hear back.

Hate to be the guy that posts back to back, but I figured this warranted it's own post rather than an edit.

Anyway, looks like I got hosed.  Bigtime.  Technically, I guess it's not A's fault.  He never specified what MG, and I never asked.  However, given the price, I just assumed it was for the 8s.  Like I said, his prices are very comparable to Eiffel on almost everything, so I figured that price for the 8s didn't seem crazy since Eiffel has them for $4 more/pill.

He replied quickly, and said that it's because his costs are going up bigtime and he's barely making any money.  I want to believe the guy, but my gut is telling me something is fishy here.  In a competitive market, and I'm assuming the SY market is VERY competitive, prices so outlandishly different from the norm don't last long.  I also assume that all the vendors are getting their goods from some of the same suppliers.  I just can't believe his prices are SO competitive on every other product, and then absolutely f'in ridiculous on this one.

Now, I take responsibility for not asking.  However, A had to know that the price on these was absurd.  He has always let me know about things that were outside the norm with his products.  When there were questionable reviews of the 932s and 853s, he let me know and steered me away from them.  When the price of Rox went up, he let me know and even said "you're a good customer, I didn't want you to feel like I was charging you more without notice".  Now those are pretty minor things that he was kind and professional enough to have the foresight to point out before I shelled out my $.

It seems like kind of a dick move to not at least say "hey, I have these in, but they're a little pricey".  Nope.  Instead, he excitedly offered them to me like "Hey, guess what else I've got in!"

When I break it down in terms of equiv. medicine, it gets even more ridiculous.  A generally agreed upon figure is that dills are equiv to 2.67x oxycodone.  So a 4mg Dill would be equivalent to just under 11mg of oxy.  So instead of waiting a day to order Roxy, I went with these and got significantly less bang for my buck.  For what I paid for this, I could've gotten damn near double the equivalent medicine in Rox, even with the new price increase.

Again, I know it's always buyer beware and that I should've asked.  But c'mon man, if you don't establish customer loyalty established through a sense of trustworthiness, business is gonna dry up in a hurry.

I'd also assumed that since he had put me through the wringer with missing product, "math errors", etc. that caused me to be constantly shorted for the better part of a month until he just fixed it all last week, that he would be a little more careful as to not do anything to push me away.

I know I'm sounding like a broken record here, but just so I don't get bombarded with "it's your own fault" comments, I'm not shucking my responsibility and I AM acknowledging that I should've double-checked.  However, this is a very personal business, so I would've assumed anything perceived to be outside the norm would've been alerted to me with a simple "hey, just so you know" or something of the sort.

@DCP: Well put, however I am surprised to hear you did not get a fair deal, or a price prior to shipment? I will be interested to see if this drives a reply from Alex? You do not sound like a broken record, at all and I have been where you are, as well as all if not almost all of us at one time or another?

We need more honest and forthright posts like this, detailed too. Definitely food for thought, but I personally still do not know a better supplier?

Shoot me a PM if you like, I was going to chat with Alex later today?

  10. LW815 @ LW815: Know what’s really going on in somebody else’s head or how much they’re really dealing with and feel like they’re left with no other options. Been a very sad few days but 2 complete (irl anyway) strangers cared enough about what I was going through to talk to me about it, though they owe me nothing and have no reason to help my personal pain other than the kindness in their own hearts. Just shows that this place is a real community, not just a forum of people who only care about themselves.
  11. LW815 @ LW815: Was nodding in/out the entire time writing those shouts and spparently was fully out sending the last one lol. But II find it ‘uplifting’ as two people I’ve never actually met and only know the others online presence through subscriptions, who I have a better chance of getting a handy J from Jesus Christ himself, both were so quick to share their own experience and wise words and assurances that things will look up and not to feel guilty or be mad at somebody for going that route - as you never
  12. xenxra @ xenxra: @hotdog45 meh, same difference. they both got blacklisted on here. wouldn't be the first time a rogue shop sent out unsolicited comms after the fact.

  16. LW815 @ LW815: They didn’t need to. They could have just continued on with the nature or the main purpose of what the relationship between us is, I didn’t really have anybody else to let it out to at the time and they both went far beyond what I’d expect. Not that I’d assumed they’re cold/A-holes - it was just a lot from somebody who’s technically a competent stranger. A very close friend of mine committed suicide on Father’s Day and iwas emotionally wrecked witih nobody to talk to, and the first author just
  17. LW815 @ LW815: @Mokachin0 not really uplifting in the normal sense, but two popular authors on here took the time out of their likely very busy days to not only read my massive walls of text, but both also replied with the most kind, thoughtful and positive responses when I randomly dumped my personal problems into their laps
  18. H @ hotdog45: I have never ordered mags from him I meant
  19. H @ hotdog45: @xenxra I thought that too but after digging on the site it is chemical cabinet. Either way I deleted the email. I have ordered mags from him, but I thought you guys should know he's reaching out to people again. After reading the thread if anyone gets an email from him I would suggest doing the same.
  20. xenxra @ xenxra: @hotdog45 isn't that ghost? he threw his rep in the trash and got blacklisted
