MODERATOR NOTE

For the time being, I'm going to ask that all discussion of this vendor and the current situation at hand be kept to PM only. Should you obtain any relevant and new information, please feel free to contact either Heisenberg or myself, or any of the Grand Poobah members, including Hooter. We will sift through the information from there and share it as appropriate. If we can't remain calm and maintain secure posting standards, I'm prepared to request that Admin lock the Mexican section entirely until this situation is resolved. I would prefer not to take that extreme measure, but I will need everyone's cooperation to avoid doing so.

I think locking this section is a good idea - for now.

One final remark and I have family matters to attend too. Should you ever find yourself with a pack being held by a carrier for "security reasons", DO NOT, under any circumstances, contact the carrier and try and insist that it be released. This will only draw more attention and scrutiny, and will yield no results. Once a pack is in this status, it is lost. Period. No matter how much you want or need it. Blowing up the carrier's customer service lines may, at least in part, be contributing to the problem.

just want to add if they were going to bust you they probably wouldn't inform you beforehand, everything would appear normal until it's too late JMO!

I have to say again: A Y has made himself available to me, always answers emails and is WAY bummed out about this situation. I am sure this will all come right in time and we should thank our blessings for the networks and the services we can find through this forum. Some call this drivel, but I think we need perspective especially during the busiest shipping time of the year.

99 did indeed find a homily in that emoticon, looks somewhat like a lead balloon? Or shall we call it the BOOM balloon!

Please do not lock. Info is why we are all here.
I appreciate that fact, but unless everyone can act like an adult and post safely and wisely, my first priority is the protection of the community. I'm an unpaid volunteer, and simply won't babysit the board while missing Christmas with my children. End of story.

Do what you need to sir. Not like anything important is gonna happen on x-mas anyway, lock it up, relax and enjoy your time with the family. Thanks for all you do for us and I don't know if anyone has told you but you're really cool for a mod, on other boards they're all on ego trips. Glad that's not the case here /default_cool.png

That's some emoticon, spewing out nostrils too - prenominal.
A very old collection from boards gone by, looking for a new home.

ALSO Jewbacca, Take care of yourself and have a fantastic Christmas brother.

  10. xenxra @ xenxra: photopea is a pretty good option, its basically just a free web clone of photoshop front-end
  11. xenxra @ xenxra: i mean they're just basic graphics... you could make one in mspaint if you really wanted to... just have to DM admin about getting it put up there.
  12. M @ MapleLeaf: Hey DBG fam :) just wondering, how do these vendors make the banners that scroll at the top of the site? Is it something I should just hire someone off of Fiverrr for, or is there a tool that easily makes one? It doesn't seem too complex! Haha
