@Natty   Do you know how to find the transaction ID in electrum?    DRC gives you 1 day and 3 hours.  I used the transaction fee they said.  but it looks like electrum only has the amount of the transaction unconfirmed, not all my btc

Got it.  Double click on the date  and the click details.   I got the transaction ID then went to the accelerator and got it to accept the ID and accelerate the transaction.

Glad you figured it out. I figured it out the other day. Also its helpful to get your private key this way under addresses if you are to seek the bit cash

Man, I am confused a touch with electrum. I emptied my multibit wallet to electrum and it arrived all unconfirmed, and said failed on multibit side, probably a fees issue. But it's very basic looking. I'll need to do a bit of research on it. Any advice on which windows version to install? I took the standard version which was the first choice if 3 in the windows download section.

I selected the 2nd on the list in the windows section.

Standalone Executable (signature)

Windows Installer (signature)

Portable version (signature) (security advice)

If its still being a pain, let me know.

My mistake, that's the one I downloaded . My funds have now arrived, and they are available for me to spend, but it still said/says unconfirmed. Anyway, Multibit is finished regardless. Thanks @Big Drew 1174and @Natty! I'd appreciate any tips you have regarding settings and transaction fees , but it looks pretty simple and basic. I'll never see the unconfirmed amount from multibit now though, but never mind, I got my main funds.

BTC Has Risen Tremendously.
Boom!  It certainly has, everytime I check my wallet I have more free money. Electrum is fantastic incidentally. Got wallet with the same seeds on my phone too, as well as desktop. Long may this rise continue!

I would download a wallet after you purchase you coin, ex. electrum. You can purchase on paxful, send to wallet, then send coin to whomever. A bit safer this way. Although, I have personally never used paxful, I have taken a look at their site.

but is paxful also a wallet to that i can use to send? to others trying to use it for a rv vendor website

so paxful to buy , and send my btc to my wallet like electrum, than i can use my wallet to send to whomever?

I tested twp ways....

Buy via Paxful and transfer to Electrum

Buy via Coinbase and transfer to electrum

I wasn't comfortable using my CC with Paxful, so I used Paypal. I bought the exact same amount of BTC on both transactions. Paypal incurred a decent fee (Seller's discretion and varies, depending on your method of payment/anonymity) and even though I bought minimal BTC, there was a considerable difference in what they each cost.

I won't be buying via Paxful ever again. I found Coinbase to be more user friendly as well.

 5. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
 6. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
 7. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.

 11. D @ dragnetopher: No, I don’t think it. I know it. And it’s not just bitcoin, it’s all crypto. And like I said, they’re selling to acquire liquidity for when countries truly start utilizing what’s been set in place. The USD is under controlled demolition as we speak. This is all part of it.

 13. xenxra @ xenxra: tokenisation is not a plan its already been happening for months, ive been trading this whole move on silver through ethereum
 14. xenxra @ xenxra: you think whales are dumping bitcoin because of something everyone has known about for like 4 years? what does bitcoin liquidity have to do with trading tokenized assets? they don't have pooled liquidity.
 15. D @ dragnetopher: Whales are tanking BTC due to the fact that the future is coming now, literally. There’s a plan to tokenize every single asset possible. This is whales dumping so they can have liquidity for the Springtime.
 16. xenxra @ xenxra: @Gulp2788 this is a terrible spot to buy bitcoin haphazardly because it's going down another $5k -$7k if 80,000 doesn't hold. i told everyone to get the fuck out of bitcoin at $103k. it's better to buy late when the bottom is more certain than throw darts and act like the opposite outcome was unavoidable just because it went down "a lot" and everyone seems to be "freaking out". wait for it to get back over 85k
 17. xenxra @ xenxra: @aarons the last time i said monero was on discount in here it went up 5x in 3 months
 18. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: good opportunity to buy more btc if you are gonna do so imo, me I'm buying the btc to switch into better currencies
