Thanks J, I also was assured they would go out today. Do you know if we will get a new My Choice alert? Yesterday's hasn't changed.I've been in contact with R, A's associate, and he assures me that all packages that were scheduled for yesterday will in fact go out today. TN's will most likely go out at the same time as always later tonight. As always, and if you haven't already done so, sign up for a UPS MyChoice account, which will provide pending delivery alerts, most often hours before you would otherwise receive them from the vendor. Either way, I would assume that it will be at least 4:00 pm Pacific time before packages are dropped off and information becomes available.
As for the "why" portion, there is a great deal of discussion of this topic in most of the SY vendor threads, including both this thread and that of R. The short answer is that shipping / order fulfillment is centralized with this vendor group, A and R included. As such, they do not physically prepare your order for shipment and drive it to the UPS facility or drop box. They are front line customer service people, "franchisees" of a sort, if you will, and occasionally there are delays in order fulfillment. Sometimes it's a matter of order volume for the day, which in this case would make a measure of sense with a mid-week holiday and many customers ordering earlier than normal to account for it. Just remain patient, and A will take care of you. This vendor group has the best track record in the industry, hands down, so no need for concern.
If I receive any further updates, I will post them accordingly.

This may vary somewhat based on your MyChoice account settings. If you have your account set up such that you receive alerts for essentially any and all changes in status, then yes, I believe you will receive a revised alert notice. Hey Jew, did not get new alert but put old tracking # in tracking spot on MY Choice page and it said "This package has been dropped off at UPS location. I think that sounds good. I don't expect any change until it's scanned again, than it should say in route for delivery tomorrow, Wed. July 3rd. I'm hopeing but it seems good to me. What makes you say this, Lucy? I also ordered yesterday, to receive today...but got the email from A last night, saying I'd receive on Wednesday instead.It's not looking good for me!/default_sad.png no word from A either! And I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow!

Just says dropped of at ups location. Has anyone gotten My Choice alert? I'm really screwed. If they did send out My Choice alerts, than my letter was late and still sitting in office. I can't believe this, every fru king holiday, trouble. I thought Monday should be fine. Gonna be a bad 4th for me if nothing comes tomorrow.Just a quick update to let everyone know that MyChoice delivery alerts for Wednesday (tomorrow) have been issued by UPS. Today's orders, as well as yesterday's, for both A & R appear to be moving as anticipated, so they appear to be back on schedule.
Let's not panic just. Yes, I'm certain that MyChoice alerts have gone out for orders placed today, and they JUST began moving from "Ready for UPS" to "Arrival Scan" in the past few minutes. I'm also surmising that today's orders are prioritized behind yesterday's orders. Keep in mind the volume that UPS's system processes daily, and also that it's been as late as midnight or so Eastern time before TN's have started moving for me in the past. Deep breath. Sometimes I don't get a MyChoice update...it's been about 50/50 for me....Mine says the same thing- dropped off at UPS location as of 530. I have not gotten any other My Choice alerts as of yet.
I know it- just wanted to let jjt6 know I had the same update on mine /default_smile.png You know so far, most of the time I get my alerts, but there have been a few times I haven't. And also mine was one originally ordered to arrive today, so I am sure they are just processing everything with the increased volume due to the holiday..Sometimes I don't get a MyChoice update...it's been about 50/50 for me....
Agreed! That is my plan too!I imagine that particular UPS location is slammed tonight...my guess (my hope?) is that theyre just behind on scanning and further behind on uploading the data.
I'm thinking positive that I'll receive tomorrow as planned!
