Hey Yall, just would like to say , if you use this forum and you are benefiting from the use of the information here. Please donate, yes we all have financial problems, but com'on donate as much as the minimum ! the site deserves as much contributions to keep it maintained. There is a lot of work to host a site, maintain it , secure it, moderate it. Its not an easy job, being a webmaster, you need to stay current with the latest code and always integrating new updates to the site to perform better . I believe your contribution does help the admin and mods perform at supreme levels for the benefit of the community forum...

This is a non for profit website, meaning the admin really doesn't need your contributions, but it really helps take the burden off them! they got bills too!! so you like it? you like what is offered? want it to stay around for a long time?! DONATE! hosting a site is not easy work!

Bitcoin wants a million details from me and photos of my personal documents e.g. Passport.

its really full on.

would have donated weeks ago if bitcoin wasn't so nosey.

@Requiem I just finished setting up bitcoin account.  It wasn't bad actually.

The verification of identity isn't really much different than payp. IMO especially if you set up a new paypa now a days.

There are actually ways to do it  (setting up a bitcoin wallet) with verification of bank only.

Hope it helps.

Just reiterating this great Post (BELOW) about how donating to the site helps with the upkeep of the running costs which might be more than some people expect!

Hi!!  Does anyone know how to donate using the app Abra? From what I can tell you can only send the funds to a cell phone number that is signed up on Abra too. I don't see an option to send directly to someone's bit coin wallet.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I apologize if this is been answered somewhere else. Thanks in advance!

Waiting on a few verifications in the block then sending my donation as well. There are a lot of ways to buy Bitcoin without ID.

yeah I'm awaiting a coin purchase myself. but i would bet i'll be waiting awhile cuz who's really going to sell 20 dollars of coin.  is there no other way to make donations?

Hi @Admin I just donated $10 USD to get my account in good standing. I sent message to you with my wallet ID but I am not sure if the message went through. I hope my donation was received.

For a review of bitcoin methods: First tried xCoins.io. But since it is the weekend, possibly...verification was taking very long. So I tried Paxful, it was very, very fast and easy.

Figured it out and thought I'd post in case it will help someone else.

1. Download Abra fund your account. It takes a couple of days.

2. Once there are funds in your account, click Withdraw.

3. Select Bitcoins as the currency.

4. Next select the amount and add the wallet ID you're sending the funds to:

1DCX1sDXzWfsGtTAkVXnqHzpFbcGTtJYaC

5. Submit and you're done!

i tried getting Bitcoins a few ways and this was the only method that worked and by far the easiest (once I figured out how!!). There's no option to leave a note with my user ID so hopefully it's not difficult for Admin to match up the donation to the user. :)

You can always write to him if your account doesn't get updated after a day or two. Thanks for the tips as well as the donation.

I actually sell Bitcoin (instantly). Small amounts as well. I'm not sure if the admins would allow it but if they approved I'd be more than happy to help the members here.

@Xanman you should ask Admin about that. I see you don't have enough posts to pm but you can email him using the address at the bottom of the home page.

Happy to help! I sent an email too and my membership was updated super fast. The donation is totally worth it! Tons of useful info all in one place. Glad I came across this site!!

Paxful was extremely easy to setup an account, buy and send bitcoins without the hassles of ID verification! Also, they have some vendors that have instant release of funds and will accept over 300 forms of payment including any type of gift card. I had no idea how easy the whole process really is 😊

  1. CalFresh @ CalFresh: Thanks everyone. My family and I are safe ATM. @mellowella thank you, but they cleaned me out. the shelves are empty but I'm hoping to call in some favors to restock ASAP. @xenxra I will reach out to set up a secure comms channel for us. Thanks again all. Yesterday was tough, but the support I've received from those I can share is with has been a Godsend.
  2. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: Mad love to you and your family @CalFresh
  3. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh if you are able to DM me (in a secure manner) the transactions associated with your btc theft, i can look into that part for you at least. i;m still 99% certain if the fbi didn't discard my leads they could have gotten some of my coins back and considering you had your coins stolen within the us, you have a much better chance of recovery than me. unless they went through mixers i could probably trace them myself.
  4. O @ Outsider9173: @CalFresh Haven't been here long but I want to wish you a fast recovery
  5. crimp @ crimp: neck spine surgery 8 ribs broke and scalp split onen about 6 inches

  9. mellowella @ mellowella: I will always remember what you did for me the very first time I donated. I have been waiting to pay that kindness forward.
  10. mellowella @ mellowella: @CalFresh are you and your family safe? You’ve helped me in a pinch and were more than generous, and I’m sure you’ve helped others. How can we help you? Does it help at all if we completely buy out what’s left? Maybe that gives time and funds to restock and rebuild? I don’t want to break any rules here, but please let us know if we can do anything. All on your time of course.
  11. CalFresh @ CalFresh: thanks guys. I'm pulling together what I have left and leaning on the kindness of folks who support me to restock my shelves so that I can keep the lights on. Having my savings drained and my security vanish in an instant is paralyzing and the repercussions will only be realized in the coming days and weeks. for now I'm just trying to stay focused on the immediate priorities for ensuring this doesn't. cause cataclysmic failure to the life I've built for my children and I.
  12. H @ hotdog45: @CalFresh hey man if I can do anything, anything at all to help you get back on your feet let me know. Truly my heart goes out to you. I sent you an email also
  13. G @ gfunkster: @CalFresh im really sorry to hear that. But remember karma is real my man. They just fd their karma for a long time.
  14. Telp @ Telp: @CalFresh Thats so fucked man. Im glad you’re safe! And wishing you the best. What a bunch of scumbags.
  15. 0 @ 0osten: @CalFresh wow man.....I'm glad you're safe. Keep us updated, prayers for you bro
  16. CalFresh @ CalFresh: everyone here is safe. I was here alone.
  17. CalFresh @ CalFresh: friends, about a few hours ago my home was invaded by two punk thugs with guns. They stole everything I had in my home: cash, electronics, and mags, and forced me to transfer $20K in Bitcoin. it is a huge loss and I'm still reeling trying to figure out what i.can do to recover. For now I'm just trying to secure what little I have left so they can't take anything else. I'm telling you guys cause theres not many others I can tell. please bare w/ me, it'll take a few days to get back up and running
  18. CnC5 @ CnC5: @xenxra awesome
  19. giantsquids @ giantsquids: don't jinx it now haha
  20. xenxra @ xenxra: bitcoin is probably going to $120k in the next few weeks, screenshot this.
