Yea your very welcome I know first hand how frustrating this can be to find a good PM doc now a days also is it a pay clinic? because if not and you can afford it you mite want to find one that is they are much more caring and easy to deal with they charge a flat fee for your first visit then go down to a once a mth fee and they give you a 30day script and all they ask for is your medical records your MRI if you got 1 no more then 1 year old and your pharmacy records or list from old doc of the meds you have been on that have worked most just give you what you have had that's worked.

Yea that's very common just like anything if you got a well dressed person then a scrubby looking 1 the well dressed person will get the better care.

What's a pay clinic? Never heard of this

 
They charge you a fee mine and most are 350 for your first visit then 300 bucks a mth after that the don't take insu only cash they give you a 30day script of you meds you c them 1 a mth I like cash only clinics because the docs are payed better and you get a better kind of care.

 
i had facet joint injections and also lower back inections after my car accident, they gave me tramadol and flexeril no pk's they didn't believe in it, i tried to get some but failed ,even if i asked nicely :/ whatever i like x@nz

Trams are useless for pain but great for depression. I hate hearing how people aren't treated properly for pain management. Ridiculous.

 
Years ago I asked my doctor for Trams and she said no,, they are narcotics.

Slightly OT, but my late mother, who was an MD, refused to prescribe tram$. She felt they had too many undesirable side effects & didn't live up to the marketing hype ("perky w/o the buzz" was what the sales reps said.)  She thought cod, vicki, & perky were safer, not to mention much cheaper. 

 
I'm coming to this crossroads.. I guess 10yrs of never failing to wait over 30 days, never failing to tell my docs ALL I ingest.. ALL my honesty has bit me in the ass.. they'll give me ALL the CIV's I want and strangely Vic&Perk 10's.. knowing neither have ever worked since my surgery.. But if I am not willing to go down.. I get booted. I've been stuck on the couch in tears for almost full 24hr periods past week and 1/2.. told my PCP he replied w/ out hesitation "I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING" when 4 visits ago he was ready to give me 8 MSir30's/day and a 200er.. smh now, w/ the new laws, he doesn't care if I get cut off.. I'm ready to find new docs. I don't got a lotta $, but I am looking for a pay clinic.. if I can find one I'm golden cuz I NEED surgery, but my Dr refuses to write for MRI's after 6yrs smh, when 6yrs ago I had 3 discs protruding but over 2cm's from my spinal nerve.. well they ain't now.. I know the difference in pain. I'm tired of the gov't "scare tactics" 

OFCOURSE TONS more people are turning to H, cuz they don't know WTF to do when they get cut off from 100's of mg's of shit just as potent. 20 yrs and my dr FINALLY lied to me.. cuz he CAN write.. I have no reason to stay here, none but family and it's gone to hell.. I can't keep supporting em.. I WISH so badly I'd sued Trams makers, I was so hooked on them at 20, BECAUSE EVERY DR gave em to me, and I saw like 10/mo back then.. boxes w/ butterflies, scripts of 210.. then 3-4 beans and boom.. I was hooked it was either them or something stronger.. 

I hate that Dr's are "Hiding" behind these damn laws.. and worse.. Mr Prez's Czar is a moron.. I can't get a decent pain dr cuz I toke.. straight up, now I LOVE my pain dr, but only cuz he CARES.. But he's not in "that" business anymore, he's only willing to work w/ patients willing to go down.. which I AM, but not on this med.. and he refuses to switch me. Thing is I WANT this too cuz when I DO decide.. surgery HAS to be done.. I don't want a tolerance like I had in '06, where it took almost 1/2grm of MS a day just so I could leave my house.. it's been 4 months I haven't gone anywhere but the grocery store.. since I dropped under 50/50.. before that I could travel, more importantly go see music which is a better P/K than ANYTHING I've found..

A Music therapy thread.. Do you have any suggestions on where I could start one? Cuz I've met the most AMAZING people through music, have tons of stuff no one has access to, I'd share.. a few dabs and a few hours of the right music.. can take any pain away.. cure depression.. IF I thought I was gonna live longer, my plan would to be a counselor, cuz NONE use music/art therapy enough.. I've had enough tell me the same shit over and over.. now I tell them, cuz I seem to have learned more.. Dr's are 99% greed mongers.. And these laws(thanks again Obama!) have a lot of Dr's retiring at 45-50.. cuz they're tired of the gov't pushin them around.. can't blame em.. but.. any Doc looks at my MRI's, it's a miracle.. cuz any "specialist" I'm sent to does NO background checking, so.. I don't go to em anymore, cuz those kind LOVE to milk Medicaid.. it's sick but true.. I'm probly better off at a Clinic(MMaintainance) cuz they don't care about herb, but.. none will take me. I'm not "qualified" cuz I need it for pain. It's like the Gov't WANTS more dope heads.. population control and the sorts. OK Imma shut up but I SYMPATHIZE w/ you all.. and know if I DO get cut off.. it's off to ******, and one more casualty to these new laws and piss poor US dr services.. They know it too, as said I'm HONEST, so I straight up told both my docs, if something don't change.. I'm ready to take option #2.. Now actually doing that's a whole nother thread. But it's  become a cess pool, PM dr's have become the joke to us suffering and it didn't use to be that way.. my Pharmy records are spotless as well but.. they don't check.. off to listen to Ben's show from last night.

My pain doctor went on leave after she had a baby and I ended up with someone who didnt know me at all and didnt look at my records. they took one look at me and decided that before my doctor left she was taking me OFF my meds.  When she was actually giving me a higher dose of something.  When I tried to rectify this they became hostile and said I was pill hopping, I had no freaken idea what that even meant or means...that they indeed needed to get me off my meds, these meds mind you help me live alittle as the pain im in. I can hardly move.  So she didnt even wean me down. She stopped my meds period. Tried to give me something already in my charts that i didnt do well with and sent me on my way in tears....I came back days later in a wheel chair unable to move...sick to my stomach from the meds i told them i couldnt take and crying that I needed my meds back and all they needed to do was call MY doctor and she would back up what i was saying. but nope...instead they remanded me to see there pshyc doctor saying again im pill seeking and that im to depressed to be given pain meds, because when they see me im crying. Um hello, im crying because the pain im in is just to much to handle...not only that but i was detoxing off two major meds and high doses at that....this went on for a good month....when my doc did finally come back.....she went to put me back on my meds but the doc in charge told her that if she did that then she would be fired....so they had to do it (there way)....which was lower dose meds and me seeing there shrink......I did that till i moved.....my life went from being able to least do things for my kids, to barley living.....Im have a variety of medical problems, at least the my pain was taken care of...UNTIL...she went on leave.....now since then.....finding a doc is almost impossible here and since the other doctor wrote im to depressed nobody wants to touch me......these docs think there god and some people who do abuse the system ruin it for those of us who really do need these meds to live....(nothing fancy) just live, take care of our kids, do every day stuff that others take for granted /default_sad.png...  sorry if my post is hard to follow.....i dont always get out correct what im trying to say because of another medical condition. (this one is not from pain).

 
Sorry I wanted too add that my last visit was sent away with motrin.  Which is nuts as I was taking f@ntany1 p@atch with r*xi"s.  So yes  after years of being taken care of to live life and i was. To be treated like this, and now unable to move, totally sucks!

Nothing was in the system. It was a huge mess. I had no clue I was signing up for Real ID. They asked me for the exact same documents that I needed for a State ID Card.
