Post Your Pets

I have a Malti-Poo and a Maltese...wish I could get the pic to post!!! Love your doggie!
Thanks DP!!  Actually, it's funny b/c when they get too shaggy and need a haircut, one literally looks like an ewok and the other looks like the abominable snowman!!  LOL

This pic is a little old and is missing 4 that we have now in a different house.  But you get the idea /default_wacko.png

My girl Blue always wants to be part of the action.
A couple of ours, Carlos and Louisa insist upon drinking out of the faucet in the sink in the downstairs bathroom.  We tried one of those mult-cat fountain things.... after it got knocked over 5 times in 5 minutes, it was permanently retired.  Blue is gorgeous!  S-

God help us, the loft is theirs.  This was carpet cleaning day....

The laminate is coming beginning of next month.... cannot do hard wood because they would destroy it in a NY minute... thing is it's hysterical to watch them on laminate.  Despite trying to dig in, they slide like they lost their edge on skates... /default_biggrin.png I use the laser off my G21 to make them go flying across the floor.  It's like a cat hockey game breaks out downstairs every night.  S-

Hannah Montana blanket tucked meticulously on adjacent sofa...I feel an explanation would surely enhanced my evening.

Good eye. Now I'd like to know also. /default_smile.png

LOL, well, that's probably a far less entertaining story than you might image. English Bulldogs, and all of those wrinkles, tend to be "crud magnets", not to mention the drooling factor, which, come to think of it, could probably describe most human males, but I digress. Anyway, so as to avoid furniture damage, I recycle old linens that the kids have either outgrown or that were for originally for the smaller beds they had when they were younger. At almost 16, my daughter decided that Hannah Montana was a bit passe for her taste, so Wally Bear inherited it for his office sofa. And yes, the "meticulously tucked in" part I must accept responsibility for. Dad was one "squared away" former soldier that insisted on made beds with square corners every morning, so I guess some old habits are hard to break! /default_biggrin.png

Wow that's a lot of cats and cat stuff!

Thank you! I'm a huge fan of that show. Crixus was my favorite character!
Cool, I am a huge fan as well! Crixus was an awesome character. I still need to watch the final season (War of the Damned). A buddy of mine has it on BluRay and offered to let me borrow it. Can't wait!

My family and I are safe ATM. @mellowella thank you, but they cleaned me out. the shelves are empty but I'm hoping to call in some favors to restock ASAP. @xenxra I will reach out to set up a secure comms channel for us. Thanks again all. Yesterday was tough, but the support I've received from those I can share is with has been a Godsend.
  4. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: Mad love to you and your family @CalFresh
  5. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh if you are able to DM me (in a secure manner) the transactions associated with your btc theft, i can look into that part for you at least. i;m still 99% certain if the fbi didn't discard my leads they could have gotten some of my coins back and considering you had your coins stolen within the us, you have a much better chance of recovery than me. unless they went through mixers i could probably trace them myself.
  6. O @ Outsider9173: @CalFresh Haven't been here long but I want to wish you a fast recovery

  11. mellowella @ mellowella: I will always remember what you did for me the very first time I donated. I have been waiting to pay that kindness forward.
  12. mellowella @ mellowella: @CalFresh are you and your family safe? You’ve helped me in a pinch and were more than generous, and I’m sure you’ve helped others. How can we help you? Does it help at all if we completely buy out what’s left? Maybe that gives time and funds to restock and rebuild? I don’t want to break any rules here, but please let us know if we can do anything. All on your time of course.
  13. CalFresh @ CalFresh: thanks guys. I'm pulling together what I have left and leaning on the kindness of folks who support me to restock my shelves so that I can keep the lights on. Having my savings drained and my security vanish in an instant is paralyzing and the repercussions will only be realized in the coming days and weeks. for now I'm just trying to stay focused on the immediate priorities for ensuring this doesn't. cause cataclysmic failure to the life I've built for my children and I.
  14. H @ hotdog45: @CalFresh hey man if I can do anything, anything at all to help you get back on your feet let me know. Truly my heart goes out to you. I sent you an email also

  18. CalFresh @ CalFresh: everyone here is safe. I was here alone.
  19. CalFresh @ CalFresh: friends, about a few hours ago my home was invaded by two punk thugs with guns. They stole everything I had in my home: cash, electronics, and mags, and forced me to transfer $20K in Bitcoin. it is a huge loss and I'm still reeling trying to figure out what i.can do to recover. For now I'm just trying to secure what little I have left so they can't take anything else. I'm telling you guys cause theres not many others I can tell. please bare w/ me, it'll take a few days to get back up and running
  20. CnC5 @ CnC5: @xenxra awesome
