Sweet Sweet Soma

I am a recent discoverer of these and have to say I am a big fan. Although I've found the line between the right dose, and too much to be a thin line, I still don't see them as dangerous as other PKs as far as OD goes.

The problems I could see would be things like the friend falling on her face and injuring herself story. This could also turn into stumbling into traffic, or into a subway train- not on purpose.

We all know, don't drink with press meds, blah, blah,…I drink with V all the time so I'm used to it, but I say if you do not have a tolerance for $oma, do not take more than two and drink. I stumbled and fell destroying my closet door after taking three over an entire night with 3 or 4 drinks. I never get like that.

Now a days I won't take more than two if I have to be in public. The stuff works better than PK for my back muscles tightness, the problem for me is I loose fine motor skills. My hands shake and I can't type. I need to type at work so I can't take 2 full ones at work.

If you are careful, and you want to take a half strip (or a full one for the serious and experienced vet only) do not leave the house, preferably the bed. The danger is not as much with OD as with injury. IMHO.

Our resident expert HighTIde has many great posts about the stuff on here, and knows way more than me.
Anyone who takes them knows they should definitely not operate heavy machinery. But humans don't always make the best decisions. I know I have gotten into that shakey mode from accidentally double dosing but the pain relief at that point is unbelievable. I don't drink and drive and won't take meds I can't handle and drive. Especially ones that make you feel buzzed like you drank three beers. Just have to use common sense.

Still taking the correct amount not double also gives you tremendous relief compared to any muscle relaxer IMHO. /default_smile.png

That is true. The relief is so much better, even at the just two x 350, than any other MR.

Hi! I recently had the mark brand sew muh from SUPER DS and I really find them weaker than the centurion prosewmahh. BTOH, can u tell me which brand you like so far? SDS quit having Wallace about six weeks ago. I have had Centurion and it was a close second. Any tips? Marcos just take a long time to kick in and aren't working well for me...fyi I NEVER take more than one at a time, even after 13 yrs of usage.

The Wallace brand was never strong IMHO. If you look through the boards you will find where others recommended two certain IOP's that provide decent quality. They will never be close to the DAN brand but are pretty close. The search box won't help but scrolling through the IOP list will. I seen the discussion a few days back scrolling through but it was from July of last year I think. Not sure if the places carry the same stock still. Might have to do some test orders to see. That's what I am currently doing. Good luck friend :)

Wow! I had forgotten about DANS, that what I had the first 5 years. A whole one made me unable to properly function even with food. Fun memories (sort of).

March of 2012 was the last days of the DAN unless from your MD.. good old regulations kicked in and ruined my parade. Was good while it lasted.

Twas a sad day indeed. The DANs rocked my world. Maybe too well. Perhaps it is a good thing they are not there (for me).

Bigtimeoxyhunter...if u read this please let us know. Wondrin how the sewmuh is from DDS. what letter does their brand start with if anyone knows?? SDS changed from wallisss to markosewmuh and its soo much weaker. Gonna try pain o sewmah brand again, but sure miss wallisss.

does anyone else remember the s0m@ that had a flower marking on one side????? we used to call them tulips, this was 15 years ago and I haven't seen em since. weren't as good as the dans but still good

Sup cat and Trudy,

The DDS ¢enturion is good. I've haven't tried too many other brands, but theirs is the best I've had. I never had DANS (whatever that is) or SDS's. I'm going with the 500m tabs this next round. I plow through these things pretty fast as they work good, and keep my PK use down. Although I've been bingeing the past few days and now have the W/D sweats and everything.

I know TT and $tarlite have em too, a little more pricey. I was going to try the SL ones but decided to stick with DDS. I have an order on the way. Will report on how the 500s compare to the 350s.

Thanks BTXO! I had centurion "painosohma"before and it was good. Maybe I will finally do DDS. /default_smile.png yep, they do help reduce PKs and are MUCH less costly /default_smile.png make me crave sugar a lot though, unless I keep mints and gum within close reach. On a personal happy note, I found five unexpected sewmuhs this eve in my home linen closet and I will ration them carefully!

Ahhhh! I'm down to only 2! I have to ration them. I need them for mornings at work.

Please mail gods, shine your light upon my DDS delivery and let it make it safety and swiftly to its destination. I don't have much DDS experience, but I've found this is the best product of all I've tried.

I eat sooo much sugar but I never thought that meds were a factor. Since I've taken over self medicating my sugar intake is through the roof, and I can't control it. I eat mostly gummy candies and sometime twix and stuff ilke that. Not like full cakes or pies, but I'm full-on addicted to sugar and cannot break the addiction. Interesting though that it could be tied to med use…

They cut my PK use in half also. They help me sleep cause of my insomnia and tell my back pain to not exist. So many uses I can't even begin to explain.

oh and the DAN brand was the elite of them all. They are what everyone gauges a expected potency. The MP brand was just as good but they kinda faded away before the big door slam on the DAN's. So if multiple people say a specific brand is as good as them. Place a test order and find out. Even if they are not most often taking two will do the trick till you find the best cari's that work for you. Trust me you will know when you get good quality.

HG,

In Addition to the reasons listed above by both of you, Such as insomnia, Reduction of PK use, effectiveness of back pain relief, etc I would like to add "often makes house cleaning fun!!!" - it brings out the hidden maid in me at only 5% of the cost of one!

There is a nice lift to it for sure. My problem is if I take more than 2 at once I loose fine motor skills, like typing and writing. But dusting and scrubbing don't take too much skillz. I also always do my cleaning on sunny days, right after my meds have kicked in. Makes a terrible job much less terrible.

I'm trying out another vendor so I'll have two brands. Once I have tried both I'll make a comparison on which I think is better. For price though, you just can beat DDS.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
