THE CODA GROUP, LLC – INDIANAPOLIS, IN 2008 – Present
Privately held investment banking, insurance services and equity fund management firm, formed through the merger of Genesis Group, Inc., Coda Funds, Inc. and an Indianapolis based insurance marketing concern. The combined companies have core operations in the funding of asset-based commercial lending products, the development, marketing and servicing of annuity and specialized P&C risk products as a Lloyd’s syndicate member and the management of a family of proprietary equity funds.
MANAGING MEMBER / CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
 Oversee senior management business-level planning and decisions involving business vision and the evolution of the business model with respect to capital and human resource allocation.
 Member of firm’s risk management committee and principal member of Lloyd’s syndicate.
 Managing director of company’s equity fund family, including Coda CRE Funds, Coda Renewable Energy Fund, Coda Intellectual Property Fund, Coda Select Venture Fund and the Coda Life Settlement Fund.

 Created and implemented a public-private partnership between the company and the Metropolitan School
District of Perry Township that could yield as much as $2MM in additional funding for the district by the
end of the 2011 school year. The partnership was unanimously approved by the township’s board of
education, and will create risk and cost free revenue for the district through the adaptive utilization of
district owned facilities for live music and family entertainment productions. Under the partnership
agreement, an entity owned by the Coda Intellectual Property Fund will act as event promoter and the fund
shall provide 100% of the equity required to implement the partnership business model. The company
intends to offer similar opportunies to other educational organizations in the future as part of its
community-based philanthropic initiatives.
GENESIS GROUP, INC. – BLOOMINGTON, IN / INDIANAPOLIS, IN 1996 – 2008
Privately held mortgage banking organization and equity fund manager specializing in the direct funding and
servicing of commercial real estate loans via a network of Midwestern community banks. Also funded larger
transactions via exclusive relationships with several large regional banks. Company servicing portfolio averaged
approximately $300,000,000, with a 60/40 ratio of term loans to construction revolvers. Company also acted as
both portfolio and merchant developer on behalf of its family of equity funds.
 Responsible for oversight of all construction, development and lending personnel.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
 Direct point of contact for all national development partner relationships, including Rolls-Royce North
America, Family Dollar, Walgreen’s, Blockbuster Video, Family Video and Consolidated Specialty
