Warning to all members and vendors

Aren’t http addresses generally considered unsafe? If it isn’t httpS , don’t click on it? At least that’s what what I was taught by duck duck go and EFF and others. HTTPS everywhere. I could be wrong( and often am)
That's weird the address I put was https, cuz I copied it straight from their site. This is the link from my browser https://tgc-rc.ru/index.php?route=common/home
They're really good, and they always deliver and have quick responses and good customer service!

Okay you are cracked because I only opened the email and have had to change my DBG email and reset SEVERAL passords. This person is a scammer and anyone who backs him up must be one too.

I am back online and want to let anyone trying to reach me can either here or if I have contacted you under a different address it is because I had to change my address to an entirely different one, but my login name is still the same and I want to warn everyone not to fall for this trap. I am merely openstill the same and I want to warn everyone not to fall for this trap. I am merely opened the email and have spent the email and have spent Half the week and lots of money, paying for a membership to a cloaking service, and I plan to call my credit company and contest the charge on the proton suite I purchased as it never protected me. What a a cloaking service, and I plan to call my credit company and contest the charge on the proton suite I purchased as it never protected me. What a God awful mess.

Thanks guys for standing behind me. I suggest if you stick with proton, have a separate VPN – it makes all the difference. They cannot crack two layers of security.

Stay safe and be vigilant!

Received same email Mr_Blackscrew. Deleted not listed as a member here
Received this same email and deleted without opening. I know this relates back to my email being compromised by the issue with Dr. F a while back. That email isn’t even associated with DBG so I chuckled when the subject line said DBG. Knew it was a scam right away and deleted without opening. Time to change emails though regardless.

We have received couple of complaints about scammer using identical email to scam customers. Just one word difference. So we came to a solution. From now on we will update our Bitcoin address in our menu.

WARNING TO ALL MEMBERS/SPONSORS/VENDORS:

Quinton is no longer accepting emails or sending from his old contact address. I received a bogus email from the old account today which I deleted immediately, but see Gracie's post re: DO NOT CONTACT QUINTON. This jerk is hardcore and going for the throat.

STAY SAFE & BE VIGILSNT!

Hey everyone I’m so livid with this hacker situation and can’t believe this was happening to my account. I’m really upset because I valued my clients and ratings as a good vendor and then this shit happens. I have changed the passwords and 2FA enabled w alerts you can rest assure that I would never scam
Anyone for

Additionally, for publishers that do send out occasional email announcements it would be great if you could confirm that those are going out in your respective threads. Maybe point members to links in the actual thread rather than including any links in the email.

Someone had already said this but a reminder…..If you contact a vendor always copy the email from the top of their thread no matter what. Every time. Even if they contact you without links and suspicious shit, I would still respond in a new email with their address copied from their thread. You may think that’s a little overboard but it only takes 10 seconds. And real vendors would totally understand and be supportive of it.

Unless you’re in the middle of an acquisition, vends rarely out of the blue just reach out to you. Unless maybe they haven’t heard from u in a while and you used to be a regular, or they are wondering how you liked your last order/if you could leave a review.

And….some (not many) send emails that don’t look personally addressed to you and you’re prob blind copied. I don’t like those. So certainly in that case, only respond in the way I suggested. For now vendors really shouldn’t send those mass/blind copy emails. Thats only my opinion.

Be safe!

Couldn't a lot of this be solved by only using PGP with vendors over email? I mean yeah someone can hack your email potentially but if they can't access your messages the issues go away pretty quickly. Plus it has the added effect of ensuring that any and all communications with you are from only the one person who has signed their key to your keyring. You wouldn't even be able to decrypt the wrong person's message. Or am I forgetting something?

All correct but seems 90% of people here don't know how to use PGP.

Unfortunately that’s true. To be honest I’m not even sure a majority of people that come across this site can figure out how to use the bare minimum security protocols like paying with Monero, using encrypted messaging (temp pm/privnote), and only sending comms through encrypted email services (proton). Expecting those same ‘non-tech savvy’ individuals to figure out how PGP works and how to use it correctly would take a small miracle, me thinks..

We have had many clients scammed over the last few months by different tactics, but all involved Proton Mail.
The first scammer was able to infiltrate a vendor’s email and extorted extra funds for “sending extra by mistake.” It appears that anyone who wrote that vendor could have been infected.
Then another hacker is copying the email addresses and menus, with 2 vendors being targeted so far. This is also Protonmail, and the giveaway is that one vendor’s name is misspelled, and both of these emails contained a different email adress next to the lock. That the email address that was a steroid forum. These emails contained red text. Make sure the 2 addresses are the same.
Now we have a third scammer who infiltrated a email conversation, then changed one letter in the vendor’s name that wasn’t easily identified, with the bitcoin address. This scammer asked for extra funds to double the order.
Please read any vendor emails very carefully. Make sure the email address is exactly the same as the vendor’s contact in every stage of contact. With some vendors who publish email addresses, check the bitcoin address.
So far this has affected only Protonmail. We had a similar problem in 2020-2021.
There’s a long thread about those hackers/scammers:
Thread 'Protonmail warning message'

Be safe and be careful! I will update this as more information becomes available.
Damn, I wish I would've seen this a week ago, I f*cking hate scammers, some of us lose every cent we save for are subscriptions and are just SOL.

i mean i posted a guide but i'm not gonna go around telling everyone to read it, that's on them

I can’t believe what I’m reading here: Scammers + hackers stealing from a darkweb pharmacy 🤬

THIS IS LIKE RICH CHILDREN STEALING FROM
DISABLED, BLIND & DEAF SENIOR FOLKS

👩🏻‍💻🧑🏼‍💻👨🏿‍💻🧑🏻‍💻

Much needed section! I will be visiting this section regularly, no doubt

@ClaytonWest we aren’t dark web. But yes, be very careful and make sure every letter is where it should be in the email. Many of these happen mid-order and the scammer will say he accidentally over sent and ask for more.

Amen 💩

99% of successful, legitimate vendors would say, “Extra goodies were sent. Enjoy your gifts. Thank you for your business”

NOT: “We sent you extras. You owe use more money now — or else ….”

Many times, I believe users just need to standup for themselves, do a little bit of research, and learn to JUST SAY NO 🚫 … or better yet — F*** OFF‼️

Respectfully hope everything works out for everyone involved.

Stay sharp ✌🏽

Absolutely! I was one of the first to get this and I said I needed two days to get the funds. Then we learned and I was so glad I thought twice.

Scammers seem to leech on people who instantly panic & compulsively pay up

(I believe) After a certain age, we all have to be able to stand up for ourselves. No matter the situation.

Saying “no” doesn’t make you a bad person
