I agretto late fir me lost 10 gs so far.
Now is likely a bad time to mention this, but you should at least donate and become a sponsor, member, whatever. Can't guarantee you won't get scammed ever again, but your options, and access to tons of feedback, makes it 100% worthwhile.
If you mean 10,000 in losses; why the fuck wouldn't you at least toss $25, $50 in towards DBG? It seems like such a waste.

Sorry, a little insensitive. We have all certainly been there to some extent; idk 'bout 10k if I'm reading you correctly, but a loss nonetheless. It sucks, frankly, and it can make you a grizzled, tight fisted paranoid window shopper or you can chalk up your "L", realize it is in fact only $, ( that's hard to do now but you can't take it with you when you have come to the End), and move on to find the trustworthy and honest people that still exist. Praying for you to release your anger, release your resentment and be free of such negative emotions.

curious to hear from established members and/or admin if you think a vendor holding an order hostage in exchange for specific actions on this board qualifies as scamming? or violating terms? or qualifies for ban?

it was surprising to receive this in an email from a vendor who took money and then didn't ship:

"first remove all the negative comments. I promise I will deliver your order"

Yeah… that prof guy sent me a partial order and stuff was blank , a year ago, owed me 100s and now can’t reply to his thread.

On the surface, this absolutely could be considered blackmail. Refusal to ship paid goods until buyer does “XYZ”.

Were there any agreements made prior to the purchase that we should be privy to? Because from a Birds Eye view, this doesn’t look good for whoever the vendor is.

You absolutely must name and shame them dude. Screenshots for proof would be ideal as well.

Since you can’t see/post in their thread, they may have blocked you on this forum. For the well-being of all involved here, I say you must name them.

This sure sounds a lot like R01
Unfortunately over last month they seem to be having issues. I had a seamless and quick and quality order in December but now you merely ask a question they go tf off on you . If it is indeed who I’m thinking of. Hope whoever it is changes their attitude. Actually sounds like someone else is vended from too

This should be (imo) where admin steps in and says something about caution packages not landing or some shi. But may be too late

I didn’t even know vendors could block members or delete their messages… I think that should change after seeing some recent threads

Haha, man I tried to view your profile to see if I could find the “block” function as a test, and you actually have it set so your profile isn’t even viewable!

It appears there isn’t actually a “block” function. At least not one I can find via mobile. So I’m assuming if they can’t post in the offending vendor’s thread anymore, they’ve not renewed their membership or something.

Oh damn, maybe that’s a good thing! The reason I did that was bc I wanted my dms to not be able to be seen by everybody who looked at my profile and I didn’t see a specific way to that, so I just hit the button of ‘nobody view posts DMs etc’ . Do you know if I don’t set my profile up that way, can DMs be seen? I like to talk shit about vendors before packages arrive or who are horrible at shipping and ghosting and don’t want them to see that and block me as that dude said happened to him. So I send a dm to someone expressing frustration or information and do it that way

I’m thing it’s a functionality only vendors have access too

Wow, if that’s true, that feature absolutely needs to be revisited. Especially in this specific instance.
Think* yeah cuz you’re a member and I looked too and have no way to block you. I can ignore you which idk what that means. But my assumption would be vendors have more freedom and control and benefits

  5. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: whereas if I use fiat to buy something the money is green anyway. Monero does this really well. Anyway rant over, you can DM me if you'd like to talk more about cryptos.
  6. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: I don't really think that people understand the whole point of cryptos in the first place anymore. BTC just won't be adopted by governments because the transactions are too public and what's worse, money that is freshly minted is better than money that has been used. Like if my btc was used for something that was illegal does that mean the money is "poisoned"?
  7. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: @xenxra Yeah, Like I said I've never really been that fond of btc, it isn't used as a currency, just as a place for people to invest money in, even though the whole purpose of btc was to be a currency. If it doesn't fulfill that role, what does? Monero certainly does.
  8. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: What's good guys! Just got back home. Missing football today :( Fuck the probowl lol
  9. shoutback @ shoutback: Volkanovski is the greatest featherweight of all time. Better than Aldo or Holloway at their peaks.
  10. S @ sawganaut: I bet btc bottom is in
  11. D @ dragnetopher: No, I don’t think it. I know it. And it’s not just bitcoin, it’s all crypto. And like I said, they’re selling to acquire liquidity for when countries truly start utilizing what’s been set in place. The USD is under controlled demolition as we speak. This is all part of it.
  12. xenxra @ xenxra: there is no shortage of whales - https://tikolu.net/i/fmnru.png
  13. xenxra @ xenxra: tokenisation is not a plan its already been happening for months, ive been trading this whole move on silver through ethereum
  14. xenxra @ xenxra: you think whales are dumping bitcoin because of something everyone has known about for like 4 years? what does bitcoin liquidity have to do with trading tokenized assets? they don't have pooled liquidity.
  15. D @ dragnetopher: Whales are tanking BTC due to the fact that the future is coming now, literally. There’s a plan to tokenize every single asset possible. This is whales dumping so they can have liquidity for the Springtime.
  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @Gulp2788 this is a terrible spot to buy bitcoin haphazardly because it's going down another $5k -$7k if 80,000 doesn't hold. i told everyone to get the fuck out of bitcoin at $103k. it's better to buy late when the bottom is more certain than throw darts and act like the opposite outcome was unavoidable just because it went down "a lot" and everyone seems to be "freaking out". wait for it to get back over 85k
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @aarons the last time i said monero was on discount in here it went up 5x in 3 months
  18. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: good opportunity to buy more btc if you are gonna do so imo, me I'm buying the btc to switch into better currencies
  19. Gulp2788 @ Gulp2788: bah politics, no need to worry BTC is a honeypot anyway
