Due To A Legal Issue The Domain Name pharmacyreviewer Has Been Suspended.

I think the reference to a waiting list was probably regarding my comment about being waitlisted at another review site by the initials of iopL. There won't be a wait list to get back on PR.

For twitter, you don't need an account to see PR updates. Just google "twitter search" and enter "@pharmreviewer" into the twitter search box and you'll find PR's twitter feed and posts. Hope that helps! /default_smile.png
This is my way of "Liking" your post! I run out of my "likes" fast! /default_smile.png

Any time a domain name is controlled by a US-based registrar, the government can force them into suspending/confiscating it by threatening them with legal action. Sometimes, all it takes is for someone to complain about the content, say it was stolen or similar. GoDaddy, Network Solutions, Register.com, etc. suspend domain names all the time. If your domain name is with a non-US registrar, they can tell the US authorities to go pound sand. I expect the new site to be registered and hosted outside of the US.
This makes total sense to me. Thank you!

I want to point out that being with a non-US based DNS service does not guarantee protection to US sites.

A perfect example is what happened the same week PR went down.  As this link for easyDNS has been posted multiple times in many forums it was at the request of the US FDA and ICANN to suspend a domain after an OD and death was reported from purchasing online meds illegal in the US.

ICANN, (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) coordinates the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) functions, which are key technical services critical to the continued operations of the Internet's underlying address book, the Domain Name System (DNS).

This is a global organization that oversees and sets policy.  If you really want to get geekie visit their website.

Not throwing paranoia out, but clarifying that a non-US DNS service not always will tell US authorities to "pound sand".  At least not in the case of a well known IOP.

Hi Jazie. There's that grey line --  pharmacy or pharmacy review site.   Those of us who have been talking iops for years have seen many a grey line, turn black.  But DrB is a real person one can google who has fought for the rights to access less expensive medications via international online pharmacies.  He believes in what he does, or did.  I am not in touch with him at all.

Well I will go back to PR once it's up.  It'll be nice just to be able to pm and email our friends and talk about the different boards we have been trying out.

Remember we are not allowed to [edit by administrator]

You are 14 days here and criticize already our rules

Nobody asked you to sing up here.

We have all understanding that you like to go back to PR and hope that you can do that in the next 24 hours.

I have kind of been floating around, not finding a home in any one board.  Thinking I am too old for starting over.  Having a hard time finding my posting mojo.

Over and out,

SM

Oh, LadyM, Jazie may have her friend set to 'approve b4 accepting'.  Not sure.

Good point. I did read that article a few weeks back. There must be some DNS services (eastern Europe, Asia, maybe?) that do not care. There are many very "controversial" (to put it nicely) sites on the web that manage to stay up.

Does anybody think it's what I mentioned before? I think two members were mad that they broke the rules and got banned. I think someone ratted on them.

I'm not making up the message I received. I swear I wouldn't do that. It's not a rumor I wrote it down word for word. I hate rats!

It's just my opinion and thought.
I haven't read the message your referring to, but I truly believe that there was nothing on PR (apart from pms) that LE or the Feds didn't already know or have access to. I'm sure that some senior members on there were undercover, as I'm sure there are on all the boards. That's why it's so important for us to be vigilant and cautious with whom we interact and give info to. I think PR will have to address what happened to some extent, because there are likely to be many members who are scared and won't want to participate.

C & T....That's a scary thought about any Senior being undercover. Never even considered it.

ladymadonna I saw your post about the message you rec'd, but don't remember if you had interacted with this person?  Sorry you had to receive a message like that.

Okay, thanks @Sheena. I'm not going to really use it because I don't have the time to figure it out. Please keep me updated if you find information out. I want to go back there and get my pink pip..lol. I was almost to it! Thanks Sheena!
I am out of "likes" so this is my way of liking your post! /default_smile.png And yes, I will keep you updated!

I really like it here, and though I was a senior member on PR, I hadn't really been there that long, Either way, I will definitely post at both sites, but I have every intention of staying a regular here as long as they will have me. :)

Yeah, if you think about it there's no reason why le would NOT be on these boards! It's not like we all discovered these secret places and have been vetted in person by the moderators - all you have to do is register and post, right?

Thats why I always say, post assuming that le is reading everything you post.

Hi CoreyAndTrevor - my admin request is pending since late June. Amazing!  You're not the only admin request!

Glad to find a forum here at DBG, also.  I am homebound most of the time. Having the ability to reach out via my laptop is a blessing, and the ability to exchange posts with other "patients" became important.

Sciatic, I am also on edge with apprehension and caution. Whatever went on behind the scenes is........weird. Why didn't HuffP report on it? Or AlterNet? The silence surrounding the past two weeks was mystifying.

So much was NOT said (noted) surrounding the news of PR's online status.

thanks for the info about pr coming back.  i've always appreciated the civility and the care people take with their posts.  but i was making a mistake relying on one forum: there are many points of view out there.  this site has been very welcoming and i'm hoping i get the hang of it soon.  i'm a little fearful of stepping on toes.

Great people on this site. I will use both you and PR. Does PR have new address yet?

I think the Feds rather be on Steroid sites, shipping from within to US and into the US.  Also checking labels on pocketbooks, jeans, even e-cigarettes.  They have so much to do, I don't think they are worried about a couple hundred pills.  Label infringement with tons of jeans, coats, golf clubs, computers, jackets, purses are their mail concern.  The US lose million over that.  Your chance of getting through customs is 99.373% (Christ I hope mine comes today).  They are not coming after us.  They only want the sellers, they are the big fish.  It would be too expensive to take 10,000 people to court, many of which have done nothing but purchased aspirin. What they have done to us, and I am sure it has helped is have MG and WU shut as much of the SY's down.  The SY's will be gone I would say in the next year if they do not come up with a new business model.  We are all safe.  Don't worry.  Have a good day!

I certainly hope you're right. I think your rationale is solid. And I agree that the SY's need to come up with a solution to the WU/MG challenges.

This is a great site right here,  and I don't think that PR offers anymore.

Now the site with

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
