While I think your logic is sound, at least in principle, I'm told by a middle management friend at brown that they're so overwhelmed at the moment that they're already bumping packages by the thousands from Monday into Tuesday, and those are packages already in route. I'm sad to say that the odds are appearing slim to nada for pre-Christmas arrivals, although I remain hopeful that this mess will ultimately resolve itself. Eventually.Has anyone received positive news?
I am hoping that monday will be a good day to transport things as it should be loaded with packges from the entire globe making separations much more time consuming.
Who knows... either things must change or the vendors will be finding other lines of work...far less profitable.
Hang tough everybody!!
So, am I reading this correctly? You're being told that you have to place ANOTHER order to receive the one you already have outstanding? PM me if you'd prefer, or feel free to post.Got the biggest load of crap email today. There is no way I'm placing another order in order to get the one I've already paid for.
What a joke.

Yes that is EXACTLY what I'm saying. Not cool. So, am I reading this correctly? You're being told that you have to place ANOTHER order to receive the one you already have outstanding? PM me if you'd prefer, or feel free to post.
Gotcha, thank you. Please indulge the attorney side of my personality for a second, but just so I'm perfectly clear, did he state that you would NOT receive your outstanding order unless you placed a new one? I know, it probably seems like the same question, but I just wanted to be sure I understood correctly, and that he specifically stated that a NEW order is a requirement to receive your outstanding one. If so, I agree, that's not good. And what,. if anything, was the stated reasoning behind this?
That is precisely what was stated; i quote "if you place a new order i will ship it as well as the lost order"
I understand they are not banks either... yet that is a bit much to chew on!!
Rest assured that this will be taken under advisement. While it won't help any of you with outstanding orders, this vendor's future on DBG needs to be evaluated, given the circumstances.I received the same message, to place a new order and A would then send the previous order and the new one at the same time. Seems unfair and I am not in a position to do so.
Completely too much to chew on when I only place the order as I was assured of no delays or issues at his end. I understand there has been a loss, but I paid a premium to anticipate delivery.
I am waiting for a reply. It looks bad all round.
