i said it in Aug. I believe its going to hit the 10k mark. Unbelievable!!! Too bad I was somewhat hesitant when I purchased initially. But, I'm happy with what I have. 

If you had BTC b4 AUG 1 2017, you also have BCC if you were on electrum (other wallets as well, I just use electrum)

Probably a few hundred just sitting there. BCC price is high, so if you are going to fully invest in one coin, now would be the time to retrieve the BCC using electron.org

I have a second wallet.  I just don't have the brain power right now to dig out the seed and move a small amount.  I still don't know how to empty the wallet completely so there's nothing left afger fees are paid.   Coinbase lets you do that.  I've looked at some forums but no one says how to do it.   Also I know some have set up breadwallet but I forget how to use that.   My brain is just a screwed up mess right now.  I can't put two words together.   

Oh and so I have to go to wallet 2 and get an address, then log out and go back to wallet 1 and send some money to wallet 2 and see if it goes?   if that works still doesn't tell me how to get every cent out.   

On another subject 2 weeks ago I spent $160 btc on some stuff.  I'm back up to that amount again.  Should have bought some when it was lower.

There is a "max" send button on the app, it must be on the desktop also. I'll need to log in to it myself.

Yaaaaay! Inner peace again @screamingmimi! I do find the desktop version simple, but clunky if ypu get my drift, searching through menus, but you'll master it no doubt soon enough. Let me know how you go with it!

I can look right at something and not see it.   I google first but sometimes if you don't ask right well, nothing.  You helped me as usual.   I'm stuck using desktop since none for IOS last time I looked.  Apple is very picky and I'm having some many problems with my phone I almost don't trust having it on my phone.   I have a problem they tell me to update.  Not only does it not fix the problem but it causes more and so far not one thing I've got an issue with, and big things, has anyone gotten back to me.  They want me to set me phone to factory settings.  That means I have to add everything again, do all my settings, everyithng manually.   No way in hell.

BTC was going through the rough then I lost $500 in about a week.  Seems to be creeping up.  Bought some but wow.

Buy via Paxful and transfer to Electrum

Buy via Coinbase and transfer to electrum

I wasn't comfortable using my CC with Paxful, so I used Paypal. I bought the exact same amount of BTC on both transactions. Paypal incurred a decent fee (Seller's discretion and varies, depending on your method of payment/anonymity) and even though I bought minimal BTC, there was a considerable difference in what they each cost.

 I won't be buying via Paxful ever again. I found Coinbase to be more user friendly as well.

Please which site has the lowest fees and accepts paypal? I would like to buy BTC and I can only use paypal.

I can't use cash or do in person exchange, because the price moves so much. I also don't like sending my ID to unknown people.

It takes me about 5 minutes to buy BTC, then withdraw, wait 1 hour until my wallet is credited and pay my vendor for meds asap.

I also found a guy who sold BTC for paypal, but he charged 20% fee. That's too much. I don't like to buy from individuals, exchanges are more trustworthy imo.

They have high fees. But you can use paypal like you prefer. 

Last time I went there it took 3 days. I think I recall after being with them for a while, the transaction is immediate, but I cannot say for sure. If you need any help transferring lmk. I know you need to buy SLL and Convert to BTC and then send to a wallet like electrum to make your purchases.

I use an exchange also , it's as quick as you want it to be.

Please learn how to buy and sell btc. You are much better off than these sites you referenced or using these scheisters on here wanting to sell you their bitcoin for a price so you can transact.  

Quick tutorial:  open a coinbase acct. fund it with your bank or cc.  Verification required - no way around it.  Open a wallet.  Xfer your coinbase coins to wallet and buy.  

Get back to me with questions.   The members on this site are best doing some due diligence.

 I don't think he's saying nobody is doing their due diligence. DBG is great and extremely helpful. But this is an area that requires more than just looking at this site. IMO people should be researching BTC more than they do and IME many people are outright against using BTC for no logical reason.

Yes, of course you can use GDAX over Coinbase.  Same company.  Low or no fees depending on the transaction.  Coinbase for ease of use via your phone.  Never purchase anything from any vendor on here directly from either Coinbase or GDAX because if they figure out what you’re buying, they will shut you down and confiscate your coins.  

If anyone prefers to go the “easy” route by buying their btc or whatever coin through one of the “bitcoin suppliers” on here, go for it. It’s your choice.  To think this will somehow mask your identity on the blockchain is quite shortsighted.  Every transaction has a trail address.  Every buy/sell/send/receive/deposit/withdrawhas a hash tag.  Even the supposed “anonymous” coins like Zcash and a few others claim to be, could still be traced.  

So yes, again, do your due diligence...or don’t.

Well stated @Chembro & @HeirCroc1...the crack down on MG has begun. I feel WU will be next, then questions will begin to arise around sending CIM to SY land. It’s gotta all go btc, and very soon...it’s the absolute future. Once the gov gets over it and stops being concerned with what’s being trans, it’ll be the thing.

I'd just like to advise members to think twice before purchasing any coin from certain members who have offered this service recently. One has been banned already. I'm with people doing due diligence also. For people with no experience of bitcoin it can be a little daunting, but a little Web searching and assistance from well-informed members and dare I say staff here helps greatly. It really is as simple as registering with coinbase, bitbargain etc. Just make sure you have your own private wallet to transfer what you buy over to, and there are many to choose from.

I am not a bitcoin supplier nor am I the most knowledgeable of all crypto and all things alt coins, but I am more than willing to help answer questions regarding how it works if I’m able.  If I’m not, you’ll hear me tell you honestly that the question is outside of my realm.  Most folks who have asked me for tips have to do with how they purchase, transfer coins, or fund their wallets.  Everyone is concerned with secrecy, and rightfully so.  There are ways, though I personally think it’s more “theory”, to succeed at being totally anonymous, but for those whose concern of privacy is paramount, I can provide strategies backed up by resources.  Just know, it’s a bit complex.  

I will never tell someone which coins to invest in, the liability is uncomfortable, but providing simple step by step instructions on how to transact, happy and willing to be a resource.
