Bitcoin Suppliers

I won't be buying via Paxful ever again. I found Coinbase to be more user friendly as well.
FYI, CB customer service is terrible.  Could be weeks before you here from them if you have  problem although there is a forum.  I switched to Gemini although I haven't used it yet.

if you buy coin with paypal, you will pay a lot more than other sources.

Cheers mimi. I'll keep this in mind and check out Gemini.

To anyone interested, I have been waiting on a unconfirmed transaction with my electrum wallet for a lot longer than usual. After reading up, I found a site that will essentially make the transaction move faster. I am having this issue due to the fee I choose for the miners in this transaction. The rate is rather high atm it seems. Anyways https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/    This is the link. Enter your transaction ID and your good to go. I checked and am now getting faster confirmations.

@Natty, I chose a relatively expensive fee , I set it half way along the scale. BTC value seems to have levelled out now, or as level as I've seen it since the constant rise after market reopened at the beginning of the month. I'm happy with electrum overall compared to multibit also. The phone app is handy into the bargain!

I used dynamic fee and paid $15.  With drc I used eBay they said.  It told me fee too low but I got a ton of confirmations

@Natty  FYI. I use the accelerator all the time.   They only take 100 am hour so as soon as it hits the hour then accelerate. If you wait it won't do anything.  It'll either tell you they'res too many or won't accept your letters you type even though you know they're right.

My fee was much higher than others on my block with transactions that make my wallet look like it has a few pennies in it. I think I got it figured out now, no big deal. I paid 7 usd to send my coin to a new electrum wallet so I could retrieve the bitcoin cash I got after the fork August 1st. Did you get any BCC bitcoin cash? You should have some for sure.

You got me lost.   You made a new electrum wallet then paid $7  to get BCC?   I wonder if I have some on Coinbase.  Can you explain step by step or show me a link on how you did that? I do know I have an extra wallet but not how to get to it or password or anything.   You sent all your money?

Oh and shoot I just totally forgot what I was gonna ask you.   Jeeze what a dumbass. I'll remember maybe.   Oh how do you figure out fees. When I used their dynamic it charged me $15 for some low order.  Of course I  dont get hatoshis and how it works or how much.  Last time it told me way too low even though I used what the seller told me.  But I did get confirmations so.

@Natty    Made a new wallet and to my surprise I had about 3 more that I'd like to delete.  Working on that.  So you're saying if I move my money to the new wallet and pay $7 I'll get BCC?     Is anyone using them?   $7 seems like a lot.   I can't get fees and the math down.

Ill look for a link that is a good guide. I cant do it at the moment as I am pressed for time. I did send all my BTC to a NEW wallet. One thing I want to say is that be certain you fully understand the steps, and go to the correct electron cash download otherwise you could lose everything!!. HTTPS:// not HTTP://. I have heard of a few look alike sites. I had kind of a different scenario going in my wallet than most I believe, not sure. But, I think I was charged three separate fees for three separate addresses when I moved my coin into a new wallet. The total ended up being $7.12 or something.

You don't have to use dynamic fees. The fee bar, that you slide during a payment, should pop up with the amount you are selected to pay if you hover your mouse over it. The more you pay, the quicker you will be on the next block to be mined. I'm still learning myself. Ill find a good link for you though.

Don't be in a hurry, ill show you how to do it. I had other wallets as well. Create a new wallet, maintain a copy of the seed or private key of the wallet that you had your BTC in before the August 1 fork, and send coin from that older wallet to the one that you just created.

Sorry, this is just the start of the redemption of your BCC. I got to go, so I can't get the whole process to you. Ill get back to u tomorrow on this. Ill look for a good link, or just type it out. In the meantime, google it if your head can take the reading. Lol, it stressed me a tad I'm not gonna pretend it didn't.

Be sure to install your electron cash on a different computer, or a virtual machine. This is very important.

Here is the link that I personally used. https://www.electroncash.org/

any questions let me know.

I used the seed from my wallet that had BTC before the fork instead of using the private key. When you create a new wallet with electroncash, you can simply enter the seed from your old electrum wallet and that's it. Be sure that your BTC is no longer in your old electrum wallet, and is confirmed in the NEW wallet you created in electrum before proceeding with the electroncash set up.

Gocelery.com has hit rock bottom. Do not deal with this company. They are leaving the whole scene due to people purchasing coin, and then canceling. That's what I read anyways. Just a heads up, they are out the picture very soon. They just allowed people to access their frozen coin, and took a huge percentage from every individual that held their coin in their 3rd party system. Always store your coin in your paper wallet and keep the seed. That way only you have access to that $$.

Hey everyone, just FYI, I'm going to talk to the admin and mods here about possibly becoming a DBG vendor/supplier ONLY for BTCs.  I have over 8 years experience with BTCs and have made A LOT of money off of them!!

I currently use Coinbase as I can't stand the ridiculous markup at Paxful. Anyways, let me talk to the admins/mods and see what I can do to try and help everyone out, eliminate unnecessary fees/overhead, and ensure this board has a solid vendor for BTCs to ensure the safety of its members and vendors!

Cheers,

esem

You would get many orders I am sure. I love me some BTC.  I hope this moves in the right direction, music to my ears.

@screamingmimi Gemini closed my account and cannot elaborate as to why. All I had ever done was open a account, and that is all. I was not ever actively buying, selling, or asking questions etc.... All I did was read, get verified and decided to put them on the back burner so to speak, my back up...

So, there goes another one. I doubt that there is a way to be accepted again. Coinbase booted me, but I did something that deserved it. Then, I attempted to get another account, but it wouldn't work.

GoCelery has opened back up on 8-27, but will no longer be a option. I cant remember if I mentioned that.

Going to kraken now. Hope I have a good experience with them as it seems I'm running out of options. I can always get coin, but if these exchanges keep me from purchasing, I may be paying more $ in fees. Ex paypal
