John, I'm too fat for the costume anymore but I was wearing a Judas  Priest concert T at the time I watched the movie.

Btw I have pictures of me in KISS make up I put on before a KISS concert I attended in the 70's. Make up only no wardrobe. Polaroid's, they will never seen the internet.
They're probably worth a few bucks on Ebay HB... /default_wink.png

Congratulations on your longevity. I know it's a silly title, but it does mean you have contributed a lot to the community. And you contribute a lot to the movie thread, which I always keep up with. I have zero interest in 50 shades of gray, maybe I'm missing out, just sounds like a lot of hype over nothing.

I have no desire to see fifty shades. However, I did hear from an unbiased viewer that it was surprisingly good. I saw news footage of a bunch of women coming out of the theatre after watching it and there was one man that had gone to see it alone in the crowd. He saw the cameras and you could see the fear in his eyes being found out and tried to avoid them but there was nowhere to go. 😂

Johnnogg does have a point about all the free porn sites out there though. 😏

No ,if you want to watch folk shagging theres loads of free porn sites YB,don't waste your money on that over-hyped shit.

I bet those pics don't ever get put on the net HB,i fully understand, stuff we do as young uns,all good fun but rather not go backwards, another reason i avoid facebuck, loads of dicks who i went to school with wanting to be my friend after 30 odd years, they can fick off.

Need a film to watch but can't make up my mind what, going to try killing them softly, lets see what Mr Pitts latest motion picture has to offer the masses.

didn't realise i'd made 1001 posts yesus christ, think that is the most i have ever made on a forum,no big deal really, not like you get sent 1000 pills of your own choice, don't get these folk rushing to 500 to get into the vip area, nothing special going on in there except we call all you newbies dumb beeeaitches. /default_wink.png
I can watch it for free online Johnny, and I'm definitely aware that there is tons of free porn on the net...Was just looking for an opinion, if anyone had seen it...Maybe I'll toss it on tonight before I sack out. It's R rated, so I'm pretty sure it's FAR from a porn...

He probably got caught in the back row, spanking the one eyed wonder worm! lol

I watched interstellar earlier, and really enjoyed it. Very long, but kept me interested enough in the lulls, and never seen a few things coming. Obvious nods to some Sci fi classics too.

I'm looking forward to watching this.

I watched a russian film "Fortress of War", set at the start of Operation Barbarossa yesterday. Typical Russian propoganda film, with every german soldier being an evil nazi, some dubious special effects, but watchable enough.

Fifty shades of grey just got added to gtg.fm if anyone is interested. I knew this would be the only way I would see it. Off to watch it now!

So I watched fifty shades last night. I never bought into all the hype with the book but I must say that I LOVED this movie! It was the psychological aspect that drew me in. There really wasn't THAT much sex in the movie. Christian Grey is such an intriguing man. (And so flipping BEAUTIFUL!) Now I'm going to have to read the trilogy and anxiously await the next movie. Two thumbs up from me!

Wow, you loved it and a couple of my friends walked out of the theater, I guess it's a love it or hate it kind of movie. I think it was the violence against women they objected to, not the sex. I'm becoming more interested to form my own opinion. There's no way my husband will want to go see it when he hasn't seen American Sniper yet.

I had zero expectations going in so maybe that helped. But the whole violence against women is all about perspective in my opinion. There was nothing non-consensual going on here. It was just all very intriguing to me.

You don't need to go to the movies to see this, just pull it up on gtg and waaalaaa!

I would recommend Takashi Miike films, like Audition or Ichi the Killer, loads of great and intense Japanese and Korean cinema.

Battle Royale is great too.

Wow lol Ichi the killer, wasn't expecting that recommendation here for some reason. I bet A Serbian Film is right up your street, now that was frickin intense. Definitely one of those films for me that you see once & never again!

I'm a big fan of psychological thrillers & horrors. Bit of an old recommendation I'm about to mention, but has anyone seen "Jacobs Ladder"? Fantastic film, in fact it's easily in my top 5 favourite films of all time, Tim Robbins is superb in it.

Finally made it to see American Sniper last night. I thought it was good. Enjoyed the parts when he was in Iraq but found the bits about his home life a bit tedious. Just didn't get as drawn in to the human element as much as I would have liked. Would still give it a thumbs up.

I found A Serbian Film to be far too sick (even for me!) with a crappy plot.

Always fancied seeing Jacob's Ladder though, it sounds like a good film.

Yeah I felt ill after watching it & that's rare for me too, never again. Check out Jacobs Ladder, it's actually quite sad though, you really feel for the character. I watched it again online not too long ago, so its still up there when you fancy watching it, it's easy to find.

Cool. I have read good things about it. Seems very complex and surreal. Tim Robbins is a great actor too.

  6. CalFresh @ CalFresh: Thanks everyone. My family and I are safe ATM. @mellowella thank you, but they cleaned me out. the shelves are empty but I'm hoping to call in some favors to restock ASAP. @xenxra I will reach out to set up a secure comms channel for us. Thanks again all. Yesterday was tough, but the support I've received from those I can share is with has been a Godsend.
  7. tiquanunderwood @ tiquanunderwood: Mad love to you and your family @CalFresh
  8. xenxra @ xenxra: @CalFresh if you are able to DM me (in a secure manner) the transactions associated with your btc theft, i can look into that part for you at least. i;m still 99% certain if the fbi didn't discard my leads they could have gotten some of my coins back and considering you had your coins stolen within the us, you have a much better chance of recovery than me. unless they went through mixers i could probably trace them myself.
  9. O @ Outsider9173: @CalFresh Haven't been here long but I want to wish you a fast recovery

  14. mellowella @ mellowella: I will always remember what you did for me the very first time I donated. I have been waiting to pay that kindness forward.
  15. mellowella @ mellowella: @CalFresh are you and your family safe? You’ve helped me in a pinch and were more than generous, and I’m sure you’ve helped others. How can we help you? Does it help at all if we completely buy out what’s left? Maybe that gives time and funds to restock and rebuild? I don’t want to break any rules here, but please let us know if we can do anything. All on your time of course.
  16. CalFresh @ CalFresh: thanks guys. I'm pulling together what I have left and leaning on the kindness of folks who support me to restock my shelves so that I can keep the lights on. Having my savings drained and my security vanish in an instant is paralyzing and the repercussions will only be realized in the coming days and weeks. for now I'm just trying to stay focused on the immediate priorities for ensuring this doesn't. cause cataclysmic failure to the life I've built for my children and I.
  17. H @ hotdog45: @CalFresh hey man if I can do anything, anything at all to help you get back on your feet let me know. Truly my heart goes out to you. I sent you an email also
  18. G @ gfunkster: @CalFresh im really sorry to hear that. But remember karma is real my man. They just fd their karma for a long time.
