Tramadol

I posted this on another section of the forum but have had no luck finding an answer...does anyone know of an iop with trams that aren't capsules? I am looking for tablets which can be cut into smaller dosage. Thanks!! /default_smile.png

It's a shame, because before they were re-scheduled I knew lots of places to get all brands of trams, both capsules & pills... However, since the travesty of scheduling, they are no longer available so freely.... However, with some searching of the boards, you may find what you need?.... Good luck :-)

Hi pixiechic, I have used most of the iop for trams in the not to far past, and I have never seentablets. You could empty out some of the insides......hard to be accurate I know.

Thanks, Catinthe Hat, I have thought about that too. It will be a bit of a p.i.t.a. but I guess I will have to get over it! At least until I am done with the damn trams anyway!! Can't wait until that day comes.

I know one of the vendors I have looked at recently had some listed as tablets but I still think they are coated instead of similar to the 627s or 377s we have in the US.

Thanks again for your reply and hope you have a great weekend!

Trams were great for me at first. Then kicking them was Hell and back.Made me a benzo head just to get a few hours of sleep.Never again, Now I'm stuck on another devil drug. Thanks Doc.

Agreed, Biskobro- they are hell to get off of, very similar to w/d from anti-depressant meds. Someday...I will be glad to be free of the constant worry about how many I have left etc. and all the other worries that come with the whole op/iop experience.

God, i feel your pain. I actually slept through the might with no help three nights in a row this past week. I nearly jumped for joy. Otherwise, my sleep is still affected. Have been taking melatonin but that only helps sometimes. It is tough.ni wish i could take benzos but unfortunately i had a problem with them in the past. Those wds are not fun either. Not nearly as bad as tram tho. Hang in there.

If I take 100mg once a day, will I end up hooked on these buggers? Wd's are hell so I'm trying to avoid getting hooked.

I have now ran out of my regular 50s. I have 200 ERs but soo different I am accually having icky w/d even on 1 ER a day no regular tram. Sucks.

Even other pain stuff that usually works when I hurt on tram is only amplifying the sensations of withdraw. Lucky to have something it could be and have felt worse before but.. That day may be coming.. Don't know if I will take the whole jump off of them or keep finding and fighting my way to resupply.

Funny how easly I took for granted when I was use to hem I figured sometimes they were not even working. But no they were. Now every thing even my eyelashes hurt.

I feel for you Akup7ich :-(.... They're tough little bastards aren't they!

I know you probably know this, but if you do decide to stop, just don't jump straight off them! However, I imagine it would be more difficult to taper with the time release ones...?

I SO hear you. I had quite the habit. I am here to support you however I can. Try some poppy seed tea. Weight lifting....i know it sounds ridic but it helps. Tire yourself out! If you can take benzos respobsibly, or soma, get some of that. Also, an SSRI like effexor can help. It is tough but really worth it. I am so so sorry for what you are going through. Xoxoxo

Thank you for your feedback. I have been steady 8 years. I had a half one I found and it was like day and might. I should have really rationed before. Likly I will get a lesser amount from an iop if it works out and down from there. Or switch the ErR to regular at appt time but then there is extra pain w/o those and then getting mild oxy for the worst might not be given. Depends. I have fibro and psoriatic athritis with joint stuff. Regardless do have a level that makes me way ick of any too strong med. though will try something once.

Benzo weirdos me out. Could never get into weed. Gave it a girl scout try.

One to five hours at a time ...

I have read many of your post and appreaciate. Take small amounts of Lexapro but it might not be the one. Seems like ultram was the layer to everything working better. But slowly not as well. And slowly little bits apof wieght. In 40s likely the combo of a lot.

Any help I will take .. Thank you:)

The effexor, or generic name venlafaxine, is the most similar to the ssri type affect of tramp. Keep in mind, that with any ssri, there are also needs to taper off of that as well. Once you are off of the tramp tho, anything is easier!

Yes, I have 2 very lovely Maine coon's... They are brothers and as so do a lot of fighting, but they are soft arses really and are forever stuck to me! I'm thinking of renaming them both: Velcro 1 & Velcro 2...

I am a fan of Huskies too, very lovely dogs, with beautiful eyes :-)

Sorry, I realise my cats have nothing to do with Tramadol!!

We can make the connection in three easy steps....

1). I used to take tramadol

2) i have a cat

3). You have cats.....lol

I have a medical question about Tramadol 100mg. Does it have Tylenol in it? I don't want to OD on acetaminophen as I take other meds with that in it.

I tried to find this answer already and was not successful. My apologies if this has been addressed already.

Been a very sad few days but 2 complete (irl anyway) strangers cared enough about what I was going through to talk to me about it, though they owe me nothing and have no reason to help my personal pain other than the kindness in their own hearts. Just shows that this place is a real community, not just a forum of people who only care about themselves.
