Sorry, maybe it's me, but I'm just a little confused by it I guess. Any help would be appreciated, especially since it seems over the last few days, many vendors are having problems with both their MG and WU rec info.
And the problems seem to be related to Interlude's recent topic about "MG issues" no doubt.

As far as the receiver info being changed, he was just touching on the fact that the vendor has changed their info (Name, location, etc.) for receiving money, so if you have dealt with this vendor in the past or recently, he was just letting you know to get a hold of the vendor FIRST before sending money to make sure that you have the new/correct information and not sending it to a name that they are no longer using. This type of discussion/information is not allowed on this forum though, so if you were asking about more detailed information, please try and get a hold of the vendor directly to get their most current/up to date receiver info on where to send payment to! Hope that helped answer your question(s) and if you have any other(s), please feel free to ask away!

Could you please educate me on what part of Golden Boy's post was not allowable per forum rules? What he asked seemed perfectly reasonable to me, particularly in light of the myriad issues this past week with SY vendors and receivers having to be changed. In fact, I think Golden Boy's request for clarification was actually quite on point. Having read most every post in all of the active SY threads this week, there have been a number of members who have place orders with vendors, obtained the receiver's information via email, then made their payment, only to receive word from the vendor that the original receiver had been blocked, and that they would need to change the receiver with MG to complete the transaction. I haven't read anything this week in any thread that indicates that any member has just sent money ad hoc to a previously utilized receiver without first contacting the vendor for their current receiver's information. I'm sure this is possible in some cases, but in reading Cal's post, I didn't immediately read into it that he was simply advocating contacting your vendor first to make sure you have their current receiver's information. And to give credit where credit is due, you are absolutely correct Ace in terms of always contacting your vendor to inquire as to their current receiver before sending any money. My usual procedure is to send the vendor an initial email indicating my desire to place an order, in which I also confirm the current price, shipping charge and current receiver. Well, since I did offend you. even if you are over it already, I believe you deserve an apology. I haven't been around for a few months so I'm still beginning to learn all the new faces around. But "did" is the operative word there - since it is the past tense of the verb to do.

I remember when she took off and I don't remember her giving a time frame. I think she must have help, which I'm sure she needed to continue with such great service, however I rarely get the personal responses I used to get, mostly when something wierd happened she answered and explain, but I still consider her #1, just don't think she's involved as much as she used to be. Am I the only one who thinks this? Does anyone still have email conversations with her back and forth during the day? I just came to believe once you order and give info you get a response that tn will come, last time I didn't even get response, but all went well.I realized I never came back to post about how A fixed EVERY issue I had with my first transaction, or how every interaction since then has been flawless.
So here I am. It's the least I can do.

This is not a complaint, just an obervation which has come to mind. it makes me wonder if I have a hicup, will she help me fix it quickly?
