Is this service still around? When I try to go to the site it just goes to like a search engine type of thing. Is the site down or is it gone for good? Thanks.

 
recieved tn, bro use email, just because some vendors web sites are down doesnt mean there not around. this post has been posted a million times. read the threads,smh

Just because a vendors site is down, does not mean they are out of business necessarily. If you can find their e-mail, go ahead and shoot them one to see what's up/for updated products, etc.

As for service/reliability, it's easiest to just go ahead and review the most recent posts in the corresponding thread(s). The posts obviously speak for themselves!

Anyone expecting tn tonight, Rec. Info has changed
Cal, could you elaborate on your last post a little? Were you expecting a TN and did not receive because the Rec. Info changed?

Sorry, maybe it's me, but I'm just a little confused by it I guess. Any help would be appreciated, especially since it seems over the last few days, many vendors are having problems with both their MG and WU rec info.

And the problems seem to be related to Interlude's recent topic about "MG issues" no doubt.

Again just curious. Thx.

I assume he is received or is expecting a tracking number to receive either today (Friday) or for tomorrow (Saturday) and was wondering if anyone else was expecting a tracking number and/or order to be received soon...

As far as the receiver info being changed, he was just touching on the fact that the vendor has changed their info (Name, location, etc.) for receiving money, so if you have dealt with this vendor in the past or recently, he was just letting you know to get a hold of the vendor FIRST before sending money to make sure that you have the new/correct information and not sending it to a name that they are no longer using. This type of discussion/information is not allowed on this forum though, so if you were asking about more detailed information, please try and get a hold of the vendor directly to get their most current/up to date receiver info on where to send payment to! Hope that helped answer your question(s) and if you have any other(s), please feel free to ask away!

Also, cal, did you end up receiving your order this morning? Or are you expecting it for Saturday delivery? Either way, if you get the chance, please let us know what happened! Glad to hear you got things working out in your favor!

Ok. Ya just trying to help. That post was actually directed more toward the "other" people who will read it, rather than you directly. But glad to see you didn't take it personal. It was really meant to help educate others on the topic, more than anything! Thanks for writing back!

Could you please educate me on what part of Golden Boy's post was not allowable per forum rules? What he asked seemed perfectly reasonable to me, particularly in light of the myriad issues this past week with SY vendors and receivers having to be changed. In fact, I think Golden Boy's request for clarification was actually quite on point. Having read most every post in all of the active SY threads this week, there have been a number of members who have place orders with vendors, obtained the receiver's information via email, then made their payment, only to receive word from the vendor that the original receiver had been blocked, and that they would need to change the receiver with MG to complete the transaction. I haven't read anything this week in any thread that indicates that any member has just sent money ad hoc to a previously utilized receiver without first contacting the vendor for their current receiver's information. I'm sure this is possible in some cases, but in reading Cal's post, I didn't immediately read into it that he was simply advocating contacting your vendor first to make sure you have their current receiver's information. As a result, I would have likely asked the same question as Golden Boy, had I seen the post first, which judging by your comments would have placed me in violation of forum rules, hence my query.

Also, for what it's worth, there have been some very real problems this week with a number of our members involving a number of SY vendors, my primary vendor included, all surrounding the issue of receivers being blocked, flagged, or whatever you'd care to call it, by MoneyGram. As I have previously posted, I'm not jumping to any negative conclusions that would call into question the integrity of any of these vendors, and in fact quite the opposite. My vendor assures me that this type of thing has happened before, and that all of the SY vendors will be handling it in due course, and will take care of their customers, which appears to be the case thus far. Hopefully this will be the case with this vendor as well. My point being, I think it's unfair to imply that these problems are somehow customer related, and simply the result of them not obtaining updated receiver information prior to placing their order. We have some excellent, reliable vendors that we rely on for the products that we need, myself included, but in order to ensure the integrity of the forum and the information it provides, we must always maintain our objectivity and examine issues from all angles prior to making any assumptions.

And to give credit where credit is due, you are absolutely correct Ace in terms of always contacting your vendor to inquire as to their current receiver before sending any money. My usual procedure is to send the vendor an initial email indicating my desire to place an order, in which I also confirm the current price, shipping charge and current receiver. Once I receive a reply, I make the payment and then follow up with a 2nd email, providing the vendor with the necessary information to complete the order, including payment confirmation and shipping address.

That's an excellent piece of advice that should be noted by all.

But "did" is the operative word there - since it is the past tense of the verb to do.

Looks like there was a definite hiccup for Friday deliveries, but it appears things are back on track - for now.

Best practice to always touch base before making a transaction, for sure. But things still do happen.

Word to the wise, always verify rec info before sending mg. I ordered Thurs and Rec info has changed .Fri morn I went and changed wire info and received today, Sat. Learn from my mistake, verify before wiring info!

I've been following this thread and I think it may have been said before, the service is still A+, however I feel A is less involved in this than she used to be. I remember when she took off and I don't remember her giving a time frame. I think she must have help, which I'm sure she needed to continue with such great service, however I rarely get the personal responses I used to get, mostly when something wierd happened she answered and explain, but I still consider her #1, just don't think she's involved as much as she used to be. Am I the only one who thinks this? Does anyone still have email conversations with her back and forth during the day? I just came to believe once you order and give info you get a response that tn will come, last time I didn't even get response, but all went well.

This is not a complaint, just an obervation which has come to mind. it makes me wonder if I have a hicup, will she help me fix it quickly?

Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
