What Do You Do For Living

At the moment I don't do shit but wait for the mailman. Few years back I bought some condos cheap and made a killing when the market went insane. Now I grow a little herb (legally, got my card) and enjoy life to the best of my ability. I live a couple miles from the Pacific and spend time leaning how to fall off a surfboard and nearly drown. Life is good, but could be better without some of my health issues. Mind you, I'm not complaining as I feel very blessed.

when not out horse riding on my estate I am usually throwing local townsfolk out of my properties for failing

to pay tribute to their Lord (me). I also beat my house staff with a fire poker when I catch them drinking

my 200 year old brandy from the drinks cabinet , which incidentally is made of antique Ivory .Just cant

get decent help these days'.

For the next week?.. Absolutely fuck all!! Hoorah!! The only good thing about Christmas...

I'm a student. Consequently, I get a student loan wich amounts to 1013EUR ($1190) a month. I know, that's a lot. I don't have to pay it back (2/3rd of it) in the case I get my degree within 10 years. The rest is a loan against an almost 0%-rate. Because my parents don't earn much money the amount of money I get is big. That's the beauty of the Netherlands.

However, starting with my master next semester, they have changed the Dutch law and still make it possible to borrow money from the government, but it has to be payed back fully.

When I read about students in the USA I'm really glad I live over here. It's seems to be really hard over there. Also I feel sorry for you guys with regard to the health insurances. Over here every single person pays circa $100 a month and consequently everyone is covered. For us, it's the most normal thing ever.

I also have an parttime job, where I work every weekend. The job brings in about 500 EUR a month. I will, however, not tell what job it is due to the possibility of identification /default_smile.png

Kind regards,

Gyre

Ah!!! student loans the only debts that cant be written off after a bankruptcy , grossly unfair a debt

is a debt IMO....... /default_angry.png

Ha! I have the same part time job as you Gyre but for me it is legal

A loan that has to be paid back!?!?!?!? Those greedy bastards! You should be entitled to free money.

Are you being sarcastic Mr Crowley? /default_smile.png

Within five years I have my phd-degree and will pay so much taxes, that everyone will benefit of it. So yeah, I think that out system is a good stimulant: if you get your degree, the loan is for free.

Techie. Repair production digital color printers and network devices. Also build computers and repair them. Creo and Fiery color print server repair and troubleshooting. I spend a great deal of my time at University print shops and industrial print shops. This has been since 2008. Prior to that I was an well accomplished auto/truck mechanic for 25 years. I still repair cars, just not my full time gig any more.
