Loonnggg overdue review here... I need to first apologize to Freeman for taking so damn long to post my experience. I could insert some lame excuse here to pardon myself as I have with him over emails, but actually, I'm kinda glad to chime in now with my story after seeing some reviews that has hit his page over the weeks/months since my first order and my 2nd test/confirmation run.
Damn Freeman, I felt that when you said that the angry customer is typically the loudest. I use to work customer service in the automotive industry and had to deal with all the pissy pants who didn't understand how things work when you try to give them your best disclaimer that there is some things outside of your control (different category, same bullsit of humanity). Those who don't understand the risk (no matter how many times & ways you explain it) when they spend their money on
*insert adviseably risky scenario here* , are so damn quick to get online and blast your name with their keyboard warrior mentality. Then on the flipside, of all the satified customers, you'd be lucky to get 1/4th of them to give you props on some review platform. Some people's kids I tell ya... me included
So with that in mind, my first comment I feel is necessary to state and make clear is that I
use to be a firm disbeliever that Freeman was legit when I went through my experience with my first order. However, I did some things slightly different in my situation compared to those who have bashed his name here on the forum... I emailed him directly, stated my concerns, waited patiently for next steps and even DM'd some other members who were having similar issues/ concerns. This order being my first overseas order, I was undoubtfully sure that my $$$ was gone and the person responding to my email was just loading me up with BS until I pissed off.
Now, I'm not claiming other peoples situation(s) were not/ are not valid to be pissed about, but I also don't know your level of intellect and/or patience when it comes to the understanding that the transactions you are placing with any vendor (especially new) is always a gamble. Whether it be a shady vendor, one of their employees shafting you and their boss, or the parcel system effn the whole thing up... or wait, thats right, sometimes we ourselves can even be considered a factor in the equation of a failed transaction. Seent it, been there, done that, lost alot of my hard earned money along the way.
Anywho, I'm gonna get to the highlights now, but anyone that wants to throw shade at me or claim I am part of his organization... kick rocks yo! Be sure to read more than 2 reviews, maybe check with other members (DM) and know your shit before getting on here and casting stones. Not a good look for the newbies (if thats you), and not a good way to get cred with the vendors... nuff said there..
I placed an order with Freeman shortly after he hit the scene here on DBG. He was super quick with his coms, explained his routine with international shipping and was very personable with the way he carried out his business. Reviewed menu, found my jam and sent my coin. Then it was the long wait... got tracks within a week or so, but when it got to the states.. shit went south. It was held up in customs for evveeerrr. Nothing changed for weeks, and I began sending him some emails of "wtf man? shit ain't cool man!" Holding back the harsh comments but expressing the frustrations, Freeman responded each time with what felt like a rip off narrative a scammy vendor would use to keep the client calm until the wave of reality finally hit them that they were shit outta luck.. Not the case here though.
During the time that Freeman had some internal issues with a worker(s), I had given up any and all hope that my order would ever make it or that I would see my money back. Chalked it all up to playing a bad hand at the casino, which made it feel less shitty cuz I like to gamble and know the risks hahaha! But shortly there after I hit this stage in my mind, I received a message from Freeman about a reship he was ready to send because it was very apparent that my original parcel was seized. Sent him my alternative addy and hoped for the best because shit, what did I have to lose? It was already lost!... But my optimisim returned when he asked if I would pay for the original parcel if it ever made it through the parcel system on top of the reship. This interaction made me feel like theres a chance this man is honest and has integrity. I, being a person I consider of good character (just ask my mom), said absolutely I'll pay it if it somehow in hell makes it through... I know we're all strangers on this forum, but I am a firm believer that Karma is real, and she's a real bitch when she feels her day of judgement is just. Speaking from experience.
To end my story here, both packages made it. One was empty with a nice little note from the xyz department of xyz judicial system (which I made sure FM knew about and he helped me clear that air) and the other was my reship. It had all contents (and then some) accounted for from my original order. From the start, coin delivery and then the eagle landing, it was close to 2 months. But on my 2nd order, which happended to include a little Christmas surprise, that shit was waaayyy quicker than I expected. Especially with the Holiday craziness in the mix.
Everything that came through and is now running low (preppn for that next order my dude!) has been top notch. I am so thankful that Freeman is here on DBG. From my standpoint, he has proved himself to be a standup guy and a professional vendor. I can only speak for myself and maybe those who agree with me.. but if you dont spend the adequate time to do the research, maybe learn from a mistake or two and really get to know the risks.. please quit causn a ruckuss and save our valued vendors the time it takes to explain to you that this isn't Amazon. And when a reship is offered, you should consider yourself very lucky.

Mad Respect Freeman!
And Happy New Year DBG Fam! Cheers to Peace, Love & The Pursuit of Knowledge
