Whats Your Favourite Benzo And Why?

Xanax , coz no other benzo gives me that clarity of mind .. its also fun asf .

Valium used to be my favourite due to how good the skeletal muscle relaxant effects are and is still in my top 5 but Xanax is on top .

Although Halcion ( Triazolam ) is a pretty close 2nd , as its basically Xanax on roids . V powerful stuff & i loved it . V rare here too in Aus unfortunately .

This interests me @dotcomkotr, what does this do for you?
If I can jump in on this one as done it recently!

The kpins keep your anxiety at bay around the clock when in your system proper so I took some xans  (just a one off) and it increased its hypnotic effect tenfold.

That was me on 5mg of clonaz twice a day but I replaced the 5mg night dose to 5mg of xans. First time they have put me to sleep for nearly a year! Felt very good for an hour, real benzo hit then bed.

As always, I don't recommend this at all and the dosage his huge due to my stupid tolerance. Don't try this at home kids.

Definently alprazolam. Quick, efficent and effective. Now specifically the ks@l0l type. Best bang for your buck. I am rxed .5 mg 2 times a day and they arent very good, from a name brand pharmacy..

I like kl@nopin for anxiety so far as i find they don't make me too sleepy, however I have just sent an email ? and should hopefully be receiving a letter back which starts with a x! I have only tried the x (xnx) once before and can't really remember how it went, however after a lot of reading on here I have high hopes on how it will help the anxiety and panic attacks caused by my PTSD. I really want something that will help without making me too drowsy.

When it comes to muscle relaxants I find diazees good.

For sleep I'm a big fan of Atvn (lrzpm) or Mgdn (ntrzpm) if I don't have a full 8 hours to be super drowsy in.

Xan, but I realize I make stupid mistakes, and become an asshole to everyone. Its a love hate thing. I love the xan, people hate me on them. So, I tend to prefer V's and k pins. I'm more in control and I don't black out on the two either. Been taking benzos for 20 yrs.

I used to be the same, except I was always so mellow on the xan that I got along with people alright. If you've been taking them for 20 years you'll probably never be free of them. Believe me, my mother's been on the xan for nearly 30 years and I'm sure will die with a current script nearby. And I myself was hooked on a cocktail of benzos for 12 years, sometimes washing down 20+mg of Xanax or half a dozen Halcion with a bottle of vodka     Took 2 years of tapering down and off with some cheap diazepam powder from China to be free of its' horrible grip. And the withdrawls and insomnia and such were not at all cool :(     Nowadays I only (rarely) use rc benzos like clonazolam strictly for sleep purpose. I'd never want to go back down that road to a real dependance

I prefer xans. My wife gets them and she kindly gives half of them to me. I get prescribed blue vals. But they have a heavy feel to them. I only take one before bed. But the xan feels much more cleaner. Now with bp meds and my muscle relaxers I fall into a pretty deep sleep. I've had ats before but they were just too short acting. So xan hands down is my go to.

HG,

Yea the withdrawals are REAL! I was given my first xan at 13 so I really never had a chance. I fell in love. It sucks when you have a benzo dependence. I don't drink alcohol going on 5 yrs cause I know they don't mix. I'm currently in the grips of the rc c lam but am tapering down well. Diaz@pam is the best for this imo. Tread lightly people.

ativan or generic equivalaent, makes me feel normal,,I like that,,have always been super anxious, genetic

I've only tried the four main ones prescribed in the US. Xanax Valium Klonopin and Ativan.

Xanax I feel works the best for me.

Xan's make me feel like an elephant has been jumping on my head afterwards. They seem to have a 'prestige factor' which attracts some people, like a cool accessory.

Clonaz, because it's potent, but lasts a long time, keeping my anxiety much more mellow.

Also, Brom@z as it's light but still releives tension, and Lor@z, as it's fairly potent and has a decent half-life.

Xanax is always at the top of people's list due to it being "cool" these days. It will fuck you up if you have a low tolerance but after taking it for a week the recreational effect is gone. The therapeutic effect is inferior to Diazepam, Clonazepam and Lorazepam (people will disagree with Lorazepam but if you have a crippling panic attack, 2.5mg of that will sort you out. People don't tend to like it due to 0 recreational effects.)

Best for therapeutic: Clonazepam

Best for a "buzz": Diazepam

Best to show off to friends: xanax

I agree with a lot of that. The best buzz I have had on a low tolerance is Nitr@zepam, taken by the load btw. :P

My tolerance is usually pretty high, but Nitr@z is worth reducing for.

I read in the Guardian about a well off American businessman who would get home, pour himself a vodka and pop a Xan@x. "My little treat to myself" he said - bluerrrgghh.

Cool indeed.

Had multiple panic attacks late last night and early this morning. Had no xanax available and I must admit snoop 3MG of Ativan got me back right. I may be asking my doc for that instead of xanax

It worked amazingly well for me but I didn't realise it at the time if that makes sense?

I was looking for the panic relief and then the nice buzz. When the nice buzz stopped, I thought it had stopped working so sold all my Loraz (prescribed) and bought xanax as it was hailed by all Google searches as the best. I'd say that's the day I tipped over the edge with bennies.

I wouldn't go switching too quickly from your xans though. Do it in stages if you are serious about it. I found Clonaz was good for me but cutting xans completely instead of a smooth, short taper was pretty miserable and they are supposedly like for like strength wise.

Xans are double the potency of.Loraz so please make sure you take that into consideration and get prescribed accordingly.

Half life of Loraz is pretty decent so after a while you may experience less of those horrible panic attacks.

I may be wrong, Mr Snoop, but aren't Lor@z 2.5 potency, whilst Xan's are 4?.Based on...

Loraz - 2.5mg

Xan - 2mg

I am a pedant, sorry.

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  9. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  10. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  11. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  12. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  13. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  20. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
